There is No Title!

Bike is not perfect as you should expect. The only thing that's needs work is the ignition/ or maybe coil. I did everything I need to to get it in riding condition and when I tried to start it it had no spark. The previous owner said he "bypassed" the ignition to ride it. It has no key. My next step was to buy a key online to check the ignition system. It may even be the points.

A few things I did before I got sidetracked.... I bought a brand new petcock valve, bought a used kick lever, shift lever, replaced the rear tire tube, bought a new front brake lever and bought another rear fender. The fender was advertised on ebay without any issues but when I receieved it it had a small crack by the bolt holes so I had it repaired (see photo).

The engine turns over great. The gas tank is very cleaned and lined. The problem with the gas tank is someone put a weld across the bottom to repair both sides and looks like crap (see photo). The turn signals are missing, no tail light and the glass on the headlight is gone. Tank does have a dent on top as you can see in the photo. I am sure they may be other minor cosmetic "issues" that really do not effect anything if you just plan on riding it. Remember the bike is a 1979!!

I did not get a photo but it is very good condition under the seat. Please take a good look at all of the photos to verify the condition of the bike.

The reason I am selling is because in the midst of working on this bike I ended up buying two other bikes I would rather work on. On top of that I already had two other bikes prior to buying this one to work on. The other bikes are street legal/titled so that is why I am letting this one go.

Bike is being sold as is! If you would like to set up a time to inspect the bike prior to the end of the auction please contact me and we can set something up. Sorry pics are not the best as I used my phone and didnt have time to pull the bike out.

Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs and set up!! I would prefer local pick up with cash in hand. If payment is made by a cashiers check it must be through USPS.

Thanks for looking!

I am located approx 40min East of State College Pa, 40min south of Willliamsport and 1hr North of Harrisburg..... Zip 17844.

Words fail me. Presumably, if your pockets are deep enough to buy all the engine parts from Kitaco (how about a DOHC four-valve head?), this sort of performance is within the reach of every C90 Honda owner. All those cabbies doing their 'knowledge' would make mincemeat of London traffic with this sort of acceleration.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season

Thu, 01 Sep 2011

Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
