For Sale is my 1978 Honda CX500. V.I.N. CX500-2004675 This bike has a clear title. It is in very good condition. The tires are very good. It has the beautiful Honda rims that I love from this era. The paint is excellent. The bike is straight and true and completely bone stock. The bike is a running motorcycle. Had a spark issue but I replaced the coils and that cured it. Honda and Yamaha Pledge Support to Typhoon Victims in Philippines

Honda and Yamaha each offered aid to the victims of Typhoon Haiyan which struck the Philippines earlier this month. Initial estimates put the death tool at over 10,000 but Philippine President Benigno Aquino says the actual number maybe closer to 2,500. Still, the United Nations says more than 11 million people were affected by the typhoon, with about 673,000 displaced from their homes.

The Honda World Superbike team has unveiled the 2012 livery Jonathan Rea and Hiroshi Aoyama will campaign for the 2012 season. Using the official test as the first opportunity to debut the new livery, the design takes styling cues from one of the colour schemes of the 2012 Honda CBR1000RR Fireblade.

By now, we’ve all seen pictures and video of the devastation in Japan following the March 11 earthquake and the ensuing tsunamis. Japan, of course, has contributed much to motorcycling, with the Big Four of Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki and Yamaha, as well as tire manufacturer Bridgestone, helmet companies Arai and Shoei and many other motorcycle industry stalwarts all coming from the Land of the Rising Sun. Jon Bekefy and Greg Hatton, two motorcycle enthusiasts, industry employees and above all, humanitarians, have set up a fundraising campaign benefiting the Red Cross for relief efforts in Japan.
