Honda Other description

OK, here's the deal, I'm getting too old to ride in the winter time any more, and I have work starting in December, so I'm putting this out there to see what's available. He's a 78 Honda Hawk (CB400T1). He has no title, but I have the bill of sale, and at his age, a title isn't needed to insure and tag him. He needs some rewiring done, but runs like a scalded dog. New battery. New tires. I have an engine cage for him, but with the aftermarket two-into-one exhaust, it doesn't fit. Simply put, this price is NOT negotiable, and I am in no rush to trade, as I said, I'm seeing what's out there. Anyway, the gauges cluster doesn't work, needs some re-wiring, I just cant use him for transportation. I have the Clymer's repair manual. Hit me up with your offer. I'm looking for a reliably running car or truck. It doesn't need to have AIR CONDITIONED, but heat is necessary. I prefer automatic transmission because of arthritis in my hips (same reason I have to trade for a vehicle to begin with) TEXT ONLY to. I do not answer unknown telephone numbers, I do not accept paypal, wire transfers, checks or money orders. I do not ship, under ANY circumstance. Face to face business only. Also, I know you don't care how much work or money I have in him, but DON'T try to talk me down telling me how much he is 'worth'. You will lose the deal, end of sentence. I may SEEM inflexible, but I'm simply being straight up right off the bat. ANY offers that are insulting (in other words, use your brain, if it were YOURS, would the offer piss YOU off?) be prepared for a NOT polite reply. Alrighty, thanks for reading this far and I hope we can do some trading

2013 AMA Supercross Houston Race Report

Mon, 08 Apr 2013

Ryan Villopoto captured his fifth-consecutive AMA Supercross win and sixth in seven rounds with a victory in the main event at Reliant Stadium in Houston, Texas. The Monster Energy Kawasaki rider passed holeshot-taker Mike Alessi on the opening lap and led the rest of the way for the win. Alessi, riding the Motoconcepts Racing Suzuki RM-Z450, remained in the hunt for the first few laps but soon gave way to a group including Team Honda Muscle Milk’s Trey Canard, Red Bull KTM‘s Ryan Dungey and Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart.

The most beautiful race bike ever?

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi.  At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.

AMA Supercross: 2012 Daytona Results

Mon, 12 Mar 2012

James Stewart gave his 2012 AMA Supercross championship hopes a much needed boost with a big win in sloppy, muddy conditions at Daytona International Speedway. Heavy rains made the Ricky Carmichael-designed track in Daytona’s tri-oval section even more difficult than the GOAT conceived, with the terrain rough, choppy and rutted. Series point leader Ryan Villopoto became an early casualty of the track conditions, sliding outon the second corner.
