I HAVE DECIDED TO SELL TWO OF MY ALMOST COMPLETE BIKES THAT I HAVE BEEN WORKING ON RESTORING.

THE Z 50 HAS HAD NEW RINGS, GASKETS, GRIPS, TAIL LIGHT COVER, CHAIN, TIRES, ALLOY RIMS, CABLES, TANK WAS RECOVERED, NEW DECALS, NEEDS HEADLIGHT AND TAIL LIGHT BULB. ALSO HAS A NEW SEAT COVER AND I REPLACED THE OLD PAN CAUSE IT WAS RUSTED HEAVILY. HOWEVER THE BIKE WILL START UP FINE I BELIEVE IT MIGHT NEED A NEW CARB BECAUSE I OPENED THE FLOAT BOWL TO SEE HOW THE GAS WAS FLOWING WITH THE PET COCK ON, ( I ALSO HAVE A NEW PETCOCK INSTALLED) AND IT SEEMS TO NOT BE FLOWING FAST ENOUGH. SOMETIMES IT WILL RUN FOR 30 MINS TO A HOUR AND SOMETIMES IT DOESNT WANT TO. I KNOW IT ITS THE GAS FLOW TO THE CARB.

THE XL 125 I PUT NEW RINGS IN, GASKETS, TIMING CHAIN, GLIDE, AND GEAR, NEW SEAT COVER, I HAVE STREET TIRES FOR IT THAT ARE ON IT IN THE PICTURE AND I HAVE THE ORIGINAL RIMS AND TIRES THAT CAME ONE THE BIKE AS WELL AS THE ORIGINAL FRONT FENDER. ALSO I HAVE INSTALLED NEW HAND CONTROLS AND HEADLIGHT AND SPEEDO.

I AM SELLING BOTH PROJECTS TO FINISH UP SOME OTHER PROJECTS THAT HAVE MOVED UP IN LINE TO BE DONE AND I AM WILLING TO ACCEPT A REASONABLE OFFER FOR BOTH OR SELL THEM INDIVIDUALLY. IF YOU WOULD LIKE ANY MORE PICTURES OR HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS FEEL FREE TO CONTACT ME ANYTIME.

** I DO NOT PROVIDE SHIPPING BUT WILL HELP IN ANYWAY I CAN TO HELP THE WINNING BIDDER WITH SHIPPING. I HAVE HAD GOT SUCCESS WITH U SHIP FOR SHIPPING AT LOW COST. I CAN ALSO HOLD BOTH BIKES FOR 3 WEEKS AFTER THE AUCTION HAS ENDED FOR THE WINNING BUYER SO THEY CAN FIGURE OUT HOW THEY WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THEM SHIPPED.

I DO NOT HAVE A TITLE ON EITHER BIKES

** IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 20 FEED BACK PLEASE CONTACT BEFORE MAKING A OFFER.

THANKS AND HAVE A GREAT DAY.

1954 AJS E95 May Fetch Upwards of $750K in August Pebble Beach Auction

Wed, 18 May 2011

This uber rare 1954 AJS E95, aka The Porcupine, may become the most expensive motorcycle in the world. World-famous auction house, Bonhams, has recently announced that it will handle auctioning of an ultra-rare 1954 AJS E95 during the Pebble Beach Car Week held annually in August at the Quail Lodge Golf Club in Carmel, Calif. Bonhams estimates that due to the rarity of the E95 (only four were completed by British brand AJS) it may see a bid as high as $750,000.

Data Analysis From Marc Marquez’ 200 MPH Mugello Crash

Mon, 03 Jun 2013

The chart above is the data recovered from the Alpinestars racing suit of Repsol Honda Rider Marc Marquez after he crashed during practice on the front straight at this weekend’s MotoGP round at Mugello (click the pictures below for an enlarged view) while traveling 209 mph. This information is recorded for all Alpinestars suits equipped with the Tech-Air airbag technology. In case you’re curious about the effectiveness of airbags in leather suits, and the severity of impacts experienced during a 200 mph getoff, let’s examine the data.

The Private Life of Dani Pedrosa – Video

Wed, 02 May 2012

Dani Pedrosa is probably the most enigmatic of MotoGP’s “Aliens”. He doesn’t have the charisma of a Valentino Rossi, he doesn’t attract controversy like teammate Casey Stoner, and he doesn’t have the exuberant victory celebrations of Jorge Lorenzo. There’s also a large segment of American fans who still can’t forgive Pedrosa for taking out his teammate Nicky Hayden at Estoril in 2006, almost costing the Kentucky Kid the championship.
