Honda Other tech info
Honda Other description
1975 Honda Goldwing was the first year for the great machines, it also is the most collectable of all the Goldwings-fist year and it has to be one of the smoothest rides of all the 60 and 70's bikes I have ever ridden. I have had three of these Goldwings over the years and this one is by far the strongest of all three. I bought this bike from a guy who him and his dad rebuilt the bike and have owned it since new. I did take the bike to the Honda shop and the carbs where rebuilt and all fluids where changed about a year ago- the bike came with a rebuilt engine and new tires when I got the bike, do not let these bike sit ride them or you will need to do carb work every year. I do not do bike shows any more but I would think this one would take the show. I use to restore corvettes and they are only new once, this one dose not need to be restored it needs to be left alone it is worth more than a frame up restorations I have restored a lot of bikes over the years I have a web page of the bikes if interested email me for the address. This bike is not new how ever but nice enough to leave it alone. In 1975 these where the fastest bikes from red light to red light -It was not the z1900 or the Suzuki GT 750's . I pulled up the NADA this bike and I would say with the rebuild and service done on the bike- "Excellent price on NADA is close to what has been spent on the bike. It would cost a lot of money to restore one of these bikes I know because we have restored most of the bikes in the collection. This bike also has luggage bags and I thinks it really brings back the day with these bags on there, but you can take them off . I love to trade bikes if you have something back from the 60 or 70's I might conceder doing a trade in, however I am trying to raise money to restore some H2,s I will be list several other bikes so please keep looking. Any questions please call me Shawn Davis 423-956-3002 Also I have over 100 pictures of the bike if needed I can email the other picture if someone in interested. Thanks again

A Different Bike Magazine
Thu, 12 Feb 2009Motorcycle Retro is a pet project of former Motorcyclist editor Mitch Boehm, launching as Motorcyclist Retro in early 2008 under the Source Interlink media umbrella. It featured a contemporary look at motorcycles of the 1960s through the 1980s. However, the circulation numbers of MR didn’t meet the expectations of the media conglomerate, and they cancelled production of the magazine after just two issues.
2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Part 4
Fri, 20 May 2011Yesterday aboard the 2012 Honda Gold Wing was quite an eye opener. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.
Honda Raises MSRP for 2013 NC700X But Lowers Price for DCT Option
Wed, 13 Feb 2013The big news from Honda last week was the introduction of the new CTX700 and CTX700N cruisers. Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. The low price point was one key advantage we awarded the 2012 NC700X over the $7899 Kawasaki Versys in our recent Middleweight Multi-Tool Shootout.
