THIS IS A 1972 SL350 K2, I REPLACED FUEL TANK AND HEADLIGHT FROM A 1971 THEN PAINTED TO LOOK LIKE A 1971. I HAVE THE ORIGINAL FUEL TANK AND HEADLIGHT. THE ONLY WEAR IS A SMALL PLACE ON THE SEAT AND ON THE FRONT FENDER. I RIDE THIS BIKE EVERY WEEKEND IT HAS NEVER GIVEN ME ANY PROBLEMS AND IS A JOY TO RIDE. THE MUFFLERS HAVE BEEN REPAIRED BUT THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL ONES TO THE BIKE. THE TIRES, BATTERY AND AIR FILTERS ARE ALL NEW, THE AIR FILTERS HAVE BEEN REPLACED WITH K&N FILTERS (AND YES I HAVE THE ORIGNAL ONES). GOOD LUCK AND HAPPY BIDDING AND YES THERE IS A RESERVE PRICE. James Toseland Announces Retirement from Racing
Fri, 09 Sep 2011Two-time World Superbike Champion James Toseland announced his immediate retirement from motorcycle racing due to a debilitating injury to his right wrist. Signed with the BMW Motor Italia racing team, Toseland has been limited to just seven of 20 races in this season’s WSBK Championship due to the wrist injury initially suffered during a private test at Spain’s Aragon circuit in March. After undergoing an operation for the injury, Toseland made two attempts at returning to racing, first at the Miller Motorsports Park round in May and again at the Silverstone round in July.
