CUSTOM 1970 HONDA Z50A IS A BLEND OF HONDA, AFTERMARKET & HAND FABRICATED PARTS COMPLETELY REFURBISHED. ELECTRICAL SYSTEM IS 12 VOLT. FUEL TANK WITH ORIGINAL HONDA EMBLEMS WAS SEALED INSIDE, MEDIA BLASTED TO BARE METAL THEN PRIMED & PAINTED WITH AUTOMOTIVE BASE COAT/CLEAR COAT. THE FENDERS ARE HONDA & HAVE SOME MINOR IMPERFECTIONS. NEW FUEL LINES INSTALLED. ENGINE IS A 110 LIFAN MOTOR 4 GEAR SEMI-AUTOMATIC. SHIFT PATTERN IS 1-N-2-3-4 ONE DOWN & three UP. MOTOR IS NEW & THE FACTORY RECOMMENDED BREAKIN IS APPROXIMATELY. 500-600miS BEFORE OPERATING AT FULL THROTTLE. BIKE HAS 89+ MILES AT LOW RPM & SPEED. RUNS & SHIFTS GREAT WITH NO SMOKE & NO OIL LEAKS. HONDA #8 FASTENERS WHERE APPLICABLE WERE TIN ZINC ELECTROPLATED & HAND POLISHED. SEE LIST OF NEW PARTS. THE BIKE WAS CUSTOMIZED FOR EXPERIENCED RIDERS NOT CHILDREN. IT WAS ORIGINALLY DESIGNED FOR A LOW HORSEPOWER 50CC ENGINE WITH A 3 GEAR TRANSMISSION THAT NOW HAS A 110CC ENGINE WITH A 4 GEAR TRANSMISSION. IT IS VERY FAST! THE WIDE STANCE HANDLEBARS MAKE IT VERY COMFORTABLE FOR AN ADULT RIDER. WE WILL PROVIDE DETAILED STARTUP PROCEDURES FOR BOTH ELECTRIC & KICK STARTING. Earlier this week we revised the 2012 MotoGP calendar and included Spa on the list. Yes, we know the chances of MotoGP going to Spa are thinner than a steam-rolled Supermodel but we like the thought of MotoGP going there. Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty.  It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone.   Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
