2014 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb To Use Airfence, Thanks To Honda Sponsorship

After a successful 2013 campaign in the 91st running of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, where Honda’s own Jeff Tigert won the Pikes Peak 450 class and set a new record, Honda is stepping up its involvement for 2014, as both a sponsor and race participant, with plans to field products in seven distinct race classes. In addition, Honda will be working with the AMA and the Pikes Peak sanctioning body on improvements which will provide new levels of safety to the Motorcycle / ATV / UTV / Sidecar competitors. Isle of Man TT 2012: Superbike TT Results

Honda TT Legends racer John McGuinness won his 18th career TT race, capturing the Dainese Superbike race to kick off the 2012 Isle of Man TT. McGuinness is second on the all-time Isle of Man TT wins list behind the late Joey Dunlop who has 26. McGuinness was aided by two very quick and efficient pit stops by his crew.

American Honda Extends Partnership With GEICO Honda

From a Honda press release: American Honda Motor Corp., Inc. announced today that it has renewed its contract with GEICO Honda for an additional three years, ensuring that the Factory Connection-run program will continue running Honda’s factory-supported 250 team through the 2017 season. Honda’s long professional relationship with Factory Connection owners Mike Grondahl, Jeff Majkrzak and Rick Zielfelder started in 1995, when the company began providing the factory team with suspension-related technical support.
