Honda Magna description

You are viewing my 1996 Honda Magna 750. This bike is awesome. I love it to death, but with 2 children my priorities have changed and we have decided to sell. This bike has never been laid down, tipped over, wrecked, or vandalized. I bought it in excellent condition, and just had it built to meet my needs.  I have put a lot of time and money into this bike this year (over 4,000 dollars invested). It is in amazing condition for its age. This year I have replaced or added the following:

- tires (1,000 miles on them)

- front drive sprocket

- rear shocks ( replaced with lowering shocks to lower the rear 2.5")

- front fork seals replaced, fluid flushed

- inspected and serviced by the local dealer, oil has always been synthetic

- new battery

- replaced voltage regulator, rectifier, performed regulator wiring update

- headlight replaced with 6000k HID unit

- 55w halogen driving lights

- LED tail light

- added batwing fairing, with tinted windshield

- added removable hard bags with turn signals

- had motorcycle completely stripped and profesionally repainted  in Deep Charcoal Pearl Metallic (original color was yellow)

- original seat replaced with Corbin Gunfighter leather saddle

Like I have said, this bike is in awesome condition. It rides perfectly, and has more than enough power (80hp roughly) I set the bike up more for touring so I geared it up slightly, and put a wider rear tire on the rear, which makes it run down the road and handle amazingly. It has a 750cc v4 liquid cooled engine, with a 10k rpm redline, which turns this lightweight bike into a rocket on rails. I have found very few comparable bikes, including big displacement Harleys, that can even come close to catching this thing in a straight line or in the curves. Mechanically perfect, with everything it needed replaced 1,000 miles ago. You will not be disappointed. This is truly an awesome example of one of the most iconic v4 muscle cruisers ever produced. feel free to call me wit any questions, my personal cell phone number is 641-228-0961. My name is Tom and I know this thing from front to back, so don't be afraid to ask! Happy bidding!

Bradl prepares for Laguna's Corkscrew

Wed, 25 Jul 2012

A rookie to Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl shows one way to prepare for the Corkscrew; by riding his LCR Honda RC213V down the famous Lombard Street in San Francisco. The reigning Moto2 champion may have never raced at the Californian track but earlier this year he used a break between races to learn the circuit on a Honda CBR1000RR, having only had a virtual experience of Laguna before this year. At the time the young German said: "It is downhill, and there are lots of blind corners.

Tire Life At The Isle Of Man + Video

Wed, 27 Aug 2014

If you’re like us, you never get enough Isle of Man videos. While the men and machines that fly around the course are nothing short of mesmerizing, let’s take a moment and talk about a crucial aspect of any race: the tires. In this Honda-supplied video, Dunlop technicians, along with 21-time TT winner, John McGuiness, talk about the challenges the Isle throws at tires.
