1987 Honda Magna on 2040-motos
Honda Magna tech info
Honda Magna description
I have my 1987 Honda Super Magna for sale. This cycle is 700 cc, V4, 6 speed transmission. The 'Super Magna' was only made in 1987 and 1988, and are collector type cycles. This Super is low mileage -12,400 miles, and has been very well cared for. It is fun to drive, and is a sound motorcycle. The positives: Well cared for, sound mechanical condition, runs smooth, glossy paint, etc. The lettering on the gauges is still crisp and clear. It has never been down, as the pipes are free of scratches and dents, etc. The body parts and fenders are free of dents, etc. The tires are good, etc. The original tools, etc. are also there on the bike. It also has the more expensive windshield. The blemishes: The original seat cover has small splits in a couple of places (common with this year of Magnas). There is a small indentation in the tank- towards the rear of the tank. The paint was not cracked, so the dent is hardly noticeable. There are also a few small 'nicks' in the paint (see photos). Reason for selling: This bike is fun to drive, and has been trouble free for me. But --my sons are all grown up and moved away, and I just have too many toys. (I am also selling a 2005 Harley Davidson Road King). Titles are free and clear. The bikes are located in Concordia, Kansas |

Honda NC700X Recall Expands to US
Fri, 28 Sep 2012As we expected, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced a recall on the 2012 Honda NC700X. The recall announcement comes a week after the NC700X and the NC700S were recalled in Canada. As with the Transport Canada recall, the problem is a lack of proper heat treatment on the Honda NC700X’s drive chain.
Hot Lap Around Spa-Francorchamps With Xavier Simeon
Fri, 20 Jan 2012If you’re a fan of motorsport on both two and four wheels like me, then you should be familiar with the Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belgium. Here, Belgian native Xavier Simeon, the 2009 FIM Superstock 1000 champion and current Moto2 competitor, does a couple flying laps around his home track aboard a Honda CBR600RR at what appears to be a trackday. The speed he carries and the smoothness of his riding are simply extraordinary.
BSB 2012; Mystic Mac investigates
Tue, 03 Jan 2012In my opinion, the smartest move in the BSB off season has to be Michael Laverty moving from Swan Yamaha to HM Plant Honda. With a ban on electronics for 2012, and in particular traction control, WFR's Graham Gowland has already proved to Laverty how competitive an EVO spec Fireblade can be - so I’m tipping both these riders to be bang on the money at the Brands Hatch season opener in April. Unlike BMW, Kawasaki and Yamaha, Honda have deliberately developed their road-going Superbike without electronics to give a user friendly feel with good mechanical traction, so it’ll be interesting to see how the opposition copes with their high-tech trickery stripped off.
