Honda Interceptor description

This is a Red, White, and Blue dream machine. These are the bikes that laid the path for the Sport Bikes today. These bikes are getting extremely hard to find in original patriotic paint let alone the ones people repainted, and this one is 99.0% original.
A Vintage 1985 Honda VF700F Interceptor, this bike is 28 years old with only 28,325 miles. Only a thousand miles per year. This Bike runs fantastic and is mechanically sound. Just had the bike went through in the last year. New Tires, front and rear brakes, fork seals, seat, all fluids serviced, new wiring harness installed, etc.. This bike is ready for another 28,000 miles, after all it is a Honda. All instruments and lights work. It has normal wear and tear for a bike of this age. A small tank dent, clear coat peeling, some sun fading, front fender damage (my dog chewed on it), signal arms are present but need attention. All fairing pieces are there and have normal wear and tear for a bike this age. You'll be hard pressed to find another one like this. Whether your a collector or just enjoy riding and have never experienced a bike like this. You don't want to let this pass you by. Also have an extra original seat that goes with it. Clear Title in hand. Low reserve for this piece of history. Thanks for looking and bid like you want it. Buyer needs to arrange shipping, or is welcome to pick it up. I will provide any information needed. Got questions? Let me know and I will do my best to answer them.

Quebec teenager Stacey Nesbitt has won the Canadian Superbike Championship’s 2011 Honda CBR125R Challenge title. We’re still checking, but organizers are already calling Nesbitt the first woman to win a  national road racing championship (excluding women-only categories). The 14-year-old from St-Lazare, Quebec, swept both Honda CBR125R Challenge races in the season finale at Mosport International Raceway in Bowmanville, Ontario, to win the title with 421 points, 52 points ahead of runner-up Austin Shaw-O’Leary.

Moto2 needs more radical bikes

Wed, 05 Sep 2012

Makers of fine exhausts, Taylormade Racing have built a Moto2 racer that harks back to the innovative machines like the Elf Honda 500 and Britten V1000. Since Moto2's inception in 2010 the class has featured bikes with conventional chassis but the Taylormade bike, designed by Paul Taylor and John Keogh, has a radical design featuring a carbon-fibre monocoque frame, carbon-fibre swingarm, wishbone monoshock front suspension and an under-seat radiator. However, with such radical engineering the inherent problem is that it is a risk for teams to invest in such a project.

Metzeler Z8 wins Motorrad award

Tue, 10 Apr 2012

METZELER'S Z8 Interact sports-touring tyre has been classed as the best wet weather sports-touring tyre by the German Motorrad TestCenter. Metzeler decided to develop new compounds for the Roadtec Z8 Interact precisely to meet these needs, tyres with the specific goal of providing riders not only the most recent technological solutions available in the area of wet performance, but also the possibility of having a tyre with a wide range of use that represents the new standard in terms of performance in any weather conditions, from wet and cold to hot and dry. The criteria considered in the wet test by Motorrad TestCenter have been: steering precision and characteristics, line holding during acceleration, ease of handling, grip at lean angle for front and rear tyres, grip during acceleration, limit range characteristics, feedback at lean angle, braking stability during full braking with ABS.
