Honda Interceptor description

2002 Honda VFR, Red with CBR body decals.  Has dent on left side of fuel tank and several scratches on right side of fairing and engine.  It is also missing two fairing screws.  It was dropped once while in my possession.  As far as I know it has never been wrecked.   Always garage kept, battery on tender and winter fuel stabilized during my ownership and very clean otherwise. Oil changed about every 1,500 miles, new rear brakes and new rear Michelin Pilot tire.  I have made every possible attempt to be accurate about the bike's condition but you must see it for yourself.

MotoGP should return to Suzuka

Thu, 14 Jul 2011

Suzuka was always one of the great circuits; unfortunately the Japanese track was dropped following the tragic death of Daijiro Kato in 2003 as the course was deemed too tight and dangerous for the rapid four-strokes. Owned by Honda, Suzuka is a magical place combining arching S-bends from the start of the lap, high-speed in the middle and finished off with the technical and oft racing deciding final chicane, the location of many fantastic last lap battles. However the death of Kato, and Honda’s major hope of a Japanese champion, placed a dark cloud over the 5.807 kilometres of tarmac.

2014 Pata Honda WSBK and WSS Team Presentation

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

Honda presented its 2014 World Superbike and Supersport team, including the new CBR1000RR SP racebike in a presentation at the Motor Bike Expo in Verona, Italy. Jonathan Rea and Leon Haslam are returning in the Pata Honda team colors to ride the CBR1000RR SP in the WSBK class while Michael van der Mark and Lorenzo Zanetti will ride the CBR600RR in the WSS championship. Last season was disappointing for Honda, with both Rea and Haslam missing significant time due to leg injuries.
