2002 Honda Interceptor VFR800, For sale 2002 Honda VFR800A (ABS model) also known as the Interceptor. CLEAN title. This is one of the most practical bikes for commuting in the city. The riding posture is very comfortable, unlike most sport bikes. It even has a center stand to make chain cleans a breeze. 64,xxx miles with many more to go. Runs and rides good, no problems at all. Tires still look and feel brand new, plenty of tread. Installed new front and back brake pads about 1,000 miles ago. Oil has been changed about 800 miles ago. Chain cleaned every 1,000 and lubed every 500. Registration is good through May 2014. The engine had an 11.6-to-1 compression ratio and developed 99.1 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 54.2 foot-pounds of torque at 8,750 rpm. The Interceptor had a six-speed transmission and chain final drive, and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph in 7.8 seconds. Dimensions The Honda's dry weight was 471.8 lbs. and it had a maximum fuel capacity of 7 gallons, with 1 gallon in reserve. It had a wheelbase of 57.4 inches and a seat height of 31.7 inches. The front used a 120/70-ZR17 tire, and the rear had a 180/55-ZR17. Brakes and Suspension Twin 11.7-inch disc brakes at the front of the Honda are on hand to stop the bike. A single 10.1-inch disc brake helps out from the back. ABS is optional. The front suspension system had 4.3 inches of travel. 2014 Mugen Shinden San Revealed

Mugen have released these pictures of the 2014 Shinden San (three), the electric racebike Honda’s performance subsidiary is hoping will take victory at this year’s Isle of Man TT Zero event. The past two years the Mugen motorcycles have come second to the radical E1pc Motoczysz machines piloted by Michael Rutter. Details are relatively basic at the moment, but underneath the bodywork, Mugen says the latest Shinden sees lithium-ion battery mated to an oil-cooled three-phase brushless motor producing 134 hp and a whopping 162 ft.-lbs.
