The riding posture is very comfortable, unlike most sport bikes. It even has a center stand to make chain cleans a breeze. 64,xxx miles with many more to go. Runs and rides good, no problems at all. Tires still look and feel brand new, plenty of tread. Installed new front and back brake pads about 1,000 miles ago. Oil has been changed about 800 miles ago. The engine had an 11.6-to-1 compression ratio and developed 99.1 horsepower at 10,750 rpm and 54.2 foot-pounds of torque at 8,750 rpm. The Interceptor had a six-speed transmission and chain final drive, and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.4 seconds and from 0 to 100 mph in 7.8 seconds. Dimensions The Honda's dry weight was 471.8 lbs. and it had a maximum fuel capacity of 7 gallons, with 1 gallon in reserve. It had a wheelbase of 57.4 inches and a seat height of 31.7 inches. The front used a 120/70-ZR17 tire, and the rear had a 180/55-ZR17. Brakes and Suspension Twin 11.7-inch disc brakes at the front of the Honda are on hand to stop the bike. A single 10.1-inch disc brake helps out from the back. ABS is optional. The front suspension system had 4.3 inches of travel.
