Honda Interceptor description

Honda VFR800FI always garage kept, never parked on the street. Always on it's pitbull stand whenever in the garage. This bike has 22,850 miles. and has been driven only for leisure and never as a commuter bike. Bike starts first time, every time.

This is an exceptional bike to own and ride. It's v4 engine provides gobs of torque throughout the power range. This is the last model for the VFR800 to use the RC46 motor with gear driven cams, a definite plus.

The fuel injection keeps the motor running great in the mountains if you drive to Tahoe. It's sport touring setup is easier on your back over long distances than a pure sport bike. The Givi cases provide tons of storage for weekend trips as well as comfortable seating for a passenger. Your passenger will have both a padded backrest and handles to hold on to. The Givi cases have knicks and scratches in the paint which is shown in the pictures.

Upgrades include:
  • Erion exhaust
  • Corbin seat very comfortable for both passengers
  • SuperSprox Sprocket
  • Power Commander
  • Bar end weights
  • Cruise control
  • Givi Side and Top cases
  • Pitbull stand
  • Center stand
California (clean) blue title in hand. Bike is registered in California, last updated in April 2016.

The other day, Honda patented the name and layout of the NT1100 motorcycle

Fri, 12 Feb 2021

The Africa Twin parallel twin will be installed in another chassis - an asphalt tourist one. Unfortunately, at the moment there are no official pictures, only the fantasies of fans and third-party designers. Only one thing is clear - the engine will be 1100cc, and just like the CRF1100 Africa Twin touring enduro and CMX1100 Rebel chopper, the engine will be offered with both a conventional motorcycle foot-shift gearbox and a DCT robot.

The most beautiful race bike ever?

Thu, 06 Oct 2011

It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi.  At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.

Gresini Unveils 2012 MotoGP and Moto3 Honda Race Bikes

Tue, 13 Mar 2012

Last season, Alvaro Bautista rode on one of the best looking motorcycles on the MotoGP grid, the Suzuki GSV-R in Rizla powder blue livery by Troy Lee Designs. This season, Bautista is riding the Gresini Honda RC213V, but instead of its previous white paint job, the Gresini machine is in a sleek black. No reason for the color change was announced, though it’s possible the choice is a sign of mourning for the late Marco Simoncelli whose place Bautista is assuming with Gresini.
