Honda Interceptor description

Up for  auction is a really nice original VF1000R interceptor. Front forks have new seals and oil. TRAC system works as it should. Rear shock has been rebuilt also Valves have been adjusted and new valve cover gaskets. carbs have been cleaned and adjusted. Chain and sprockets are in grate condition. brake pads are almost new. No water or oil leaks Both radiators are in excellent condition, inside and out. Fuel tank is grate condition inside and no dents outside. Over all pain condition is about 85-90% condition. There are two cracks in the seat cowell that can be seen in the pic and one in the right body panel. That crack has been stabilized. The engine has excellent compression. If the bike sits for a week or more their is a faint sign of smoke on start up but quickly goes away. this is do to the valve seals getting stiff from age. Other than that their is no smoke.  This is a wonderful peace of history and their not  exactly growing on trees. Don't miss the chance to own it. The bike has a Texas bonded title. A non refundable $500.00 deposit due at the end of the auction. Balance due in five days. Bank check or USPS money order preferred. Any check will need to clear before I release it. Buyer responsible for shipping fees and arrangements.

Selling most of the units in Asia or Latin America, the XR150 platform is one of the most popular entry-level dual-sports, and its introduction to the US comes with some welcome perks; time tested engine and components plus a 20-year history of available parts – both OEM and aftermarket. Honda’s reliability is legendary, and this little XR150L is likely no exception.
