Honda Gold Wing description

1981 Goldwing  GL 1100 in great shape runs great!

This is a good looking old goldwing in good condition for its age. (some rust in spots)

Has a been well taken care of, rides very nice and smooth.  You could take it anywhere!  Very dependable old bike.

It has 44,000 miles on it, nothing for a goldwing if you know these bikes they run forever.

I have had no time to ride this year and I need the room in my shop.  It could use the carbs cleaned because I haven't ridden it much this year at all, but it still runs like a clock.

The seat has a tear where the front and back meet, along the seam.

There is some rusting/pitting on the exhaust pipes.

If the bike sits for an extended period of time, the fuel petcock should be turned off.   I was told that one of the floats stick.  Easy fix, just haven't had the time!

AMA Supercross: 2012 New Orleans Results

Mon, 16 Apr 2012

Ryan Villopoto has already secured the 2012 AMA Supercross Championship but that doesn’t mean he’s ready to let up and take it easy over the remainder of the season. The Monster Energy Kawasaki racer clinched his second consecutive title two weeks ago in Houston, Texas, but he continued his dominance in AMA Supercross’ return to New Orleans’ Superdome, taking the holeshot and leading all 20 laps for his ninth win of the season in 14 rounds. The New Orleans round may have lacked some big names currently nursing injuries such as Ryan Dungey, James Stewart and Chad Reed, but Villopoto provided a star effort in the first AMA Supercross race in the city since 2009.

2014 AMA Supercross Oakland Results

Mon, 27 Jan 2014

With three different racers tasting victory in the first three rounds of the 2014 AMA Supercross Championship, the season was shaping up to be one of the deepest and most competitive fields we’ve seen. But at Round Four at O.o Coliseum in Oakland, Calif., Ryan Villopoto showed why he remains the top dog, leading each lap for his second win of the season. The Kawasaki rider only trailed at the very start of the race, as Honda rider Vince Friese took the holeshot with Yamaha‘s Justin Brayton slotting in second through the first corner.

A real Monster of a bike

Wed, 13 Jun 2012

The bike above was once a Ducati Monster S4. It was restyled by Italian custom builder Ferruccio Codutti who took a year crafting the look out for aluminium for one of his customers. Ignoring the grotesque nose, Codutti's work is impressive as the front end was made by the man himself.
