2007 Honda Gold Wing 1800, I bought this bike new in 2007. I have ridden it on three long trips across the US, riding through all 48 lower states. Other than that I have taken it on a handfull of rides here in the south. Most of the time is just sits in the garage covered up and plugged into a battery tender. This bike has a brand new rear tire and only a few thousand miles on the front. It has the comfort package with heated seats and backrest for the passenger, as well as heated grips. I also got the CB radio option when I purchased it. My favorite feature is the GPS Nav system, with the current updated installed. Other than a pair of slip on mufflers, riders backrest, and taller windshield, this bike is totally stock. I always changed the oil and did the maintenance as suggested per manual. Provisional 2012 World Superbike Championship Entry List Released
Wed, 18 Jan 2012The International Motorcycling Federation has released a preliminary entry list for the 2012 World Superbike Championship. The preliminary list includes 24 entries representing six manufacturers: Aprilia, BMW, Ducati, Honda, Kawasaki and Suzuki. Noticeably absent is Yamaha which announced last summer it would pull out of WSBK racing.
Recall on Kuryakyn Transformer Passenger Floorboards for Honda Gold Wing
Tue, 20 Dec 2011Accessory manufacturer Küryakyn is issuing a recall on its Transformer passenger floorboards for the 2001-2011 Honda Gold Wing. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the mounts of the Küryakyn Transformer floorboards may crack and break free from the mounting bolts. The floorboards may unexpectedly fall off the motorcycle, potentially leading to a crash or injury.
Lorenzo Wants to Race at Assen Despite Breaking Collarbone in Three Places
Fri, 28 Jun 2013Jorge Lorenzo underwent two hours of surgery earlier this morning in Barcelona, Spain, to insert eight screws and a titanium plate to secure his fractured collarbone. By the afternoon, the Yamaha rider was back in the Netherlands to prove he is healthy enough to race in tomorrow’s TT Assen. The reigning MotoGP champion broke his collarbone in three places after high-siding in a wet practice session Thursday.
