Honda Gold Wing description

2013 Honda Gold Wing GL1800B, New 2013 Honda GL 1800B GoldWing F6B...a whole new spin on the world's greatest touring motorcycle. It's lighter, trimmer andleaner--perfect for around-town, shorter trips or even a weekend getaway. The Gold Wing F6B still offers plenty of storage capacity and performance, along with many of the Gold Wing's comfort and luxury features. Best of all, it has a clean, fresh look that's all its own! (Additional photos shown of the Deluxe model with the added options ofa center stand, passenger backrest, self-canceling turn signals and heated grips). It's a low-slung, fully hot-rodded Gold Wing that makes a bold styling statement with its shorty windscreen, sleek fairing, gunfighter-style seat and blacked-out wheels, engine and frame, not to mention that pair of saddlebags hung way out behind the rider .

2014 WSBK – Portimao Results

Mon, 07 Jul 2014

Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

MotoGP Teams Complete First Sepang Pre-Season Test

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

Preparations for the 2014 MotoGP Championship are well underway, with the first pre-season test at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit complete. As the first test of the year, we shouldn’t take too much stock into the results, but they do provide a basis for later comparison. Reigning World Champion Marc Marquez was the fastest rider on all three days of the Sepang test.
