Honda Gold Wing description

2008 Honda GL1800 Goldwing Gold Wing Motor Trike
My father (2nd owner) recently purchased this beauty, but has decided to stick with "2 Wheels" for a few more years. All comparable trikes out there are either be many years older, have double the miles,  or are priced thousands higher. Buy it now, you wont be disappointed.
The Trike is in Pristine "like new" condition with only 12.800 miles.
The Goldwing comes with all the 1800 standard options including driver/passenger intercom, reverse, cruise control, and am/fm Stereo.
Extras:
Trunk Organizer
ISO Grips
Fender Covers
New Front tire
Rears tires are in excellent condition.
6 Degree Rake
Trike Cover
Highway Pegs
Hitch
Rear Bumper
Rear Speakers
Needs nothing.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Mon, 05 Sep 2011

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.

Two-time MotoGP World Champion Casey Stoner has announced he will retire following the end of the 2012 season. Rumors of Stoner’s impending retirement plans have been floating around for weeks with the 26-year-old Repsol Honda racer saying he will continue racing until he no longer enjoyed it. That seems to be the case now as the 2007 and 2011 MotoGP Champion announced he will retire at a press conference ahead of this weekend’s French Grand Prix at Le Mans.

Flooding in Thailand Not Expected to Affect Honda Motorcycle Production

Thu, 13 Oct 2011

Severe flooding in Thailand has disrupted Honda’s automobile production but the company’s motorcycle production is expected to proceed normally. Hundreds have been died since July due to heavy flooding in Thailand and several provinces remain underwater as the Asian nation experiences its worst floods in 50 years. Heavy monsoon rains from multiple storm systems over the last few weeks have added to the problem, affecting millions in northern and central Thailand.
