IT HAS 61,274 MILES, IS PURPLE IN COLOR AND POWERED BY A 1520CC CARBURETED ENGINE AND 5 SPEED TRANSMISSION WITH STARTER AIDED REVERSE. THE BIKE COMES WITH CRUISE CONTROL, CB, AIR PRESSURE CONTROLS, AND 1 KEY. THERE ARE SOME EXTRAS ON THE BIKE WHICH INCLUDE CHROME RING OF FIRE ROTOR COVER, FRONT FAIRING ACCENT TRIM, MASTER CYLINDER COVER, LUGGAGE RACK, PASSENGER ARMREST, AND DRIVER BACKREST. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.
