This is a 1989 Honda Goldwing GL1500 Aspencade in outstanding shape. The bike only has 61k and runs and handles great. There are a couple of tears on the seat that has been repaired and pictured. Has CB radio and reverse all working fine. Timing belt have been replaced. Oil and filter Changes. Anti-freeze changed. New spark plugs. Rear end fluid changed. This bike is ready to go across country. This bike is sold where is and as is. I do not ship but I can help with your shipper and way I can. US Motorcycle Thefts Down 6% in 2011
Tue, 09 Oct 2012Americans reported 46,667 motorcycle thefts in 2011, a 6% decrease from 49,791 stolen motorcycles in 2010, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau. Despite the drop in reported thefts, the non-profit organization representing nearly 1100 property and casualty insurance companies says the theft rate still averages out to one motorcycle stolen every 11 minutes in the U.S. The numbers were published in the NICB’s 2011 ForeCAST Report which examined theft reports as well as recoveries.
Team Mugen Returning to TT Zero with Shinden 2
Fri, 08 Feb 2013Noted Honda tuner Mugen announced it will compete in the 2013 TT Zero on the Isle of Man with an updated version of its Shinden electric sportbike. Mugen entered the Shinden at last year’s TT Zero, with Isle of Man veteran John McGuinness finishing second with an average speed of 102.215 mph. Team Mugen managed to break the 100mph barrier but fell short to the race winner Michael Rutter who rode the MotoCzysz E1PC.
