Honda Gold Wing description

Hello,I am selling by relisting my 1986 Honda Gold Wing with 58000 plus miles. Not 59000 yet.  I started the bike this weekend and saw no leaks but it warmed up on me and may just be a thermostat or a head gasket I don't know.Yes engine runs. I am just being straight forward about what I found. The auction before  now had bid to $1570 with the all important last day to bid left. Very much thanks to all who previously bid. I am not a motorcycle mechanic so my loss is your gain and we decided to let her go as is where is, no warranty or guarantees. This will make someone a real nice ride! This bike has shiny paint, pinstripes have fade. The seats are in good shape with backrests.Bike has good trunk and saddlebags with additional lighting in rear.I found no cracks on any of the body panels. It is equipped with front and rear floorboards too.Nice tires. Does not have a radio. This is a seven day listing. Payment is to be made in full within 3 days of auction close.I accept Paypal, cash, or U S Postal M.O.I can hold the bike for you up to 30 days and will assist the shipper of YOUR choice but payment must be made in three days regardless. Please check my feedback. Gold Wing has CLEAR TITLE! Good luck and bid to win!

2010 Honda V4 Teaser [video]

Tue, 25 Aug 2009

Based on the concept model unveiled last October at Intermot 2008, the new motorcycle is expected to be a sport-tourer powered by a 1200cc V-4 engine with variable cylinder technology which can allow it to run on only two cylinders to conserve fuel.  There are also rumors that the motorcycle will have a semi-auto gear box which will give the rider the option of going manual or automatic. Honda has a dedicated website for the V4 where you can enter for a chance to win a spot to be one of the first to test drive the new bike, unfortunately, the contest is only open to Europeans. Hit the jump to see the new promo video (you can hear what the motorcycle sounds like!) and an interview with design project leader, Teofilo Plaza.

Isle of Man TT 2013: Sure Sidecar Race 2 Results

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

Brothers Ben and Tom Birchall rebounded from a disappointing finish to the first Sure Sidecar race with a solid victory in their second race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. The Birchall brothers had the early lead in the first race but were forced to retire on the first lap after puncturing a tire. Their second race went much better however, as they led from start to finish for their first ever win at the Isle of Man.

Pata Honda To Test ‘Speed Gene’ At Jerez

Tue, 01 Apr 2014

This just in from the Pata Honda World Superbike team: The Pata Honda team has announced the introduction of a nepotistic youth policy designed to enhance development and ensure continuity of its world championship racing program. On tomorrow’s third and final day of the World Superbike championship test currently taking place at Jerez in Spain, regular riders Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea will hand over their Honda CBR1000RR SP racing machines to their respective young sons. Despite being less than a year old, Max Haslam and Jake Rea are deemed to have inherited sufficient quantities of the so-called ‘speed gene’ to warrant a full test on the sophisticated production race bikes.
