Honda Gold Wing description

***NO RESERVE PRICE TO MEET ON THIS ONE...YOU BID, YOU WIN*** Here is your chance to own a beautiful 1984 Honda Goldwing Interstate. This Wing has new tires (less than 500 miles on them) new battery, new front brakes, AM/FM/CD player, loads of storage! Averaging just over 1,800 miles per year, this Wing has years of Touring fun remaining! I just rode this on a 110 mile ride on 8/20/13 averaging 75 mph, this bike rode like a dream with a strong motor, quick response and very enjoyable stereo music the entire trip! all lights and buttons work as they should, there is a small crack in the bottom left of the trunk and the typical and usual scrapes and scratches found on a bike that is almost 30 years old...NOTHING Major, just typical stuff (see pics) This bike also includes a drivers backrest and a drivers cupholder (installed but not shown on bike) Don't miss out on this one, Fly in and ride home! GOOD LUCK!!

MotoGP Lifts Rookie Rule, Caps Factory Prototype Entries and Adjusts Other Regulations

Fri, 29 Jun 2012

As expected, MotoGP organizers have officially lifted the rule barring rookies from racing for factory teams, but the Grand Prix Commission also tweaked some other regulations including a cap on factory prototype machines. We’ve discussed the lifting of the rookie rule already, with the main impetus being to allow a manufacturer such as Honda to sign up-and-coming Moto2 star Marc Marquez when he is expected to move up to the premiere class next season. As of Jan.

Old boys up front and where are the new 600 Gixers?

Mon, 28 Feb 2011

As I’ve been gagging for the new race season to kick off so it was almost a pleasure getting up at stupid 0 clock to watch the World Superbike Championship  opener at Phillip Island last weekend. I have to say Messrs Burnicle and Whitham were on form although I was disappointed there were none of the usual verbal attacks on each other that always add to the entertainment.    I’m sure they will put things right soon but the world superbike regulars must have been disheartened that Moto GP veterans nailed five of the six available rostrum slots.

2014 Honda CB1100 Announced

Wed, 20 Nov 2013

The Honda CB1100 has only been available here in North America for a year, but for 2014, the retro-styled standard is already getting an update. That’s because the CB1100 has been around for a bit longer overseas, and for nearly everywhere but here, it’s ripe for a modest refresh. For 2014, Honda is replacing the previous version’s five-speed transmission with a six-speed gearbox.
