Honda Gold Wing description
UP FOR BID: 1984 Honda GL1200 Aspencade. This bike runs, shifts, and goes down the road OK, BUT needs many things fixed. It was dropped in a garage and sustained damage: bent handlebar, broken right front turn signal, bent windshield garnish. Other problems: the front fork seals leak, the radio and cassette work intermittently, the seat needs repair, the rear air shocks don't hold pressure, the shift shaft seal leaks, the rear brake doesn't work. Some things that are OK: The battery is fairly new, the digital dash readouts all work, the tires look OK with plenty of tread left, front brakes work, the engine and transmission work as they should. Purchase price of the bike may be paid using a bank check, personal check, or cash in person. The bike and title will be held until any checks clear. The buyer is responsible for arranging and paying for any shipping. I'm located in S/W Colorado. Thanks for looking. |

Honda Announces Electric Motorcycle Plans
Tue, 13 Sep 2022Carbon neutrality by 2040 Honda announced plans for a carbon neutral future and a goal of introducing 10 or more electric motorcycles by 2025 including three mid-range models and a youth model for North America. Until now, Honda has been very tentative when it comes to electrification, with its main focus being on developing swappable battery packs for electric two-wheelers. Its Japanese counterparts Yamaha and Kawasaki have outlined their own plans, while in North America, Harley-Davidson is days away from finalizing its LiveWire spin-off.
Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.
Wed, 08 Dec 2010Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old. Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?
Thu, 02 Jun 2011The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship. He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.
