Honda Gold Wing description

Condition:  The bike is in excellent running condition.  The motor runs excellent and has been very well maintained.  There are some fixers about this bike.  (1) the headlight assembly is not there, I had troubles with it on my trip from Colorado to New York, so I removed it and replaced with a universal round headlight (which works fine). (2) the headlight switch will need replacing to have high and low beams- I have it on low permanently.  (3) the tachometer just stop working about a month ago so it needs a new tach cable.

This bike will be very easy to make mint blue book value,  it currently would fall under good blue book which is around $3400.   I use this bike nearly everyday, but I need money and have to get my truck on the road.

Features:   There are many cool lights and chrome accessories on this bike.  The stereo is new as of April with new speakers as well... Sounds Great.   Hard shell saddle bags are in nice shape.  The seat is new and in great shape.

History:  I purchased this bike in Colorado in April.  I drove it on a great adventure taking my time from Colorado to New York.  I had only one issue (which was the headlight assembly) on the entire voyage.  The man I purchased the bike from kept it in a garage every winter.  I need to sell it to afford fixing my truck, otherwise I would not sell this bike forever.

Shipping and Payment:  Buyer arranges all shipping or pick up.  If possible I may be able to deliver the bike for an extra charge (anywhere on the east coast should be easy for me to ride the bike to, but I would need transportation home,  bus, plane, etc.)  Buyer must pay full price upon pick up or prior to shipping.  buyer must pay a $500 down payment within 24 hours of auction closing.

Honda Reports Q1 2011-2012 Results

Tue, 02 Aug 2011

Honda reported a 88.3% year-on-year decrease in net profit over its first quarter ended June 30, 2011, thanks in large part to the March 11 earthquake and ensuing tsunamis in Japan. Honda reported a profit of 31.7 billion yen (US$411.1 million) over the quarter, a fraction of the 272.4 billion yen (US$3.53 billion) reported over the same quarter last year.  The decrease came mainly from a large dropoff in automobile sales. Net sales from the motorcycle division helped keep Honda in the black despite a drop in unit sales.

Results From Day 1 Of World Supersport Testing At Phillip Island

Mon, 17 Feb 2014

Despite losing the World Supersport title last year to a hard-charging Sam Lowes, Mahi Racing Team India’s Kenan Sofuoglu, aboard his Kawasaki ZX-6R, hasn’t lost any of the pace that has made him the overwhelming favorite heading into 2014. He topped the timesheets on the first day of testing at Phillip Island, setting a time of 1:33.521, putting him at near lap-record pace. Second on the day was Dutchman Michael van der Mark, aboard the Pata Honda CBR600RR.
