Honda Gold Wing description

Very good condition.Well kept and maintained. Reliable. Runs good. Stops good. Original paint. 37624 miles to date. Same owner since 1985. Clear title. Average wear and tear for a 38 year old motorcycle. Continental tires have tread but are a little dry rotted. Original pipes are rusted where headers meet muffler and have been patched thru the years; overall they are pretty solid. Seat was reupholstered about 10 years ago; no rips or tears. Pics show with and w/out windjammer. Currently has windjammer installed. Headlight and blinkers are included. Saddle bags and trunk are included as well. All gauges and lights work. the tachometer works but is slow; it needs a damper in the gauge. Krauser brand hard side bags are lockable and easily removed in seconds with a key. Fiberglass trunk w/luggage rack. Its ready for a new home. I'm selling it because I am looking at buying a street glide. Buy it and ride it home. I would trust it to make a trip cross country, if it had new tires.

A Lap of the Isle of Man TT Mountain Course with John McGuinness – Video

Tue, 26 Jun 2012

The Isle of Man TT is a very special event. Once the most prestigious motorcycle event in the world, the TT requires a certain type of character to ride superbikes at an average speed of over 130 mph through the quaint villages and over the rolling hills of the 37.73-mile Mountain Course. But don’t take my word for it, take the word of 19-time TT winner John McGuinness.

Mystic Mac's 2014 MotoGP predictions

Thu, 06 Feb 2014

There is no real off season in Moto GP.  Although we complain about being starved of racing, for those at the sharp end, in little more than two months they have new bikes to assemble, team staff to put in place and sponsors to nail down that will pay for it all.  This time frame is also tight for riders, as it seems more every year go straight under the surgeon’s knife after the last round and spend the short winter recuperating for the season ahead. The 2014 Moto GP championship looks like a cracker as apart from the ten full factory riders we now have at least eight non factory riders with properly competitive machinery.  We also have five Brits on the grid, two with podium potential.  Whatever happens though (providing you have BT Sport) you can just sit back and enjoy watching the incredible Marc Marquez do things that shouldn’t be possible. Speaking of whom, I didn’t believe a Rossi replacement would come this soon.  And when I say replacement, I mean a rider that is the full package.  Although in some ways quite different to Vale, he’s an equally phenomenal talent plus a very likeable character that appeals to the masses and although respectful to his rivals off track, deadly competitive in the heat of battle.  Being young and good looking he’s obviously a dream for sponsors and the sport in general.  Marquez has evolved in his own way but thankfully into a perfect replacement for our sport when the VR steps down.
