Honda Gold Wing description

The GL 1000was the 3rd year for Honda's answer to the flat 4 mostly used by BMW. It's more like a car engine than the typical air cooled bikes that Honda had usually made since the Dream Era These bikes have several outlets for parts like Saber cycle, Randzacks, and many others. The GL 1000s are collectors items and are getting hard to find especially in this condition. Every time I take this bike out people comment that they can't believe it is a 77, a real head turner!! *************Even Harley Guys!*********** Runs Great!! Honda And Repsol Celebrate 20 Years Together

Mon, 10 Feb 2014

If we were to play a game of word association, the mention of “Repsol” would automatically trigger “Honda” from the audience, or at least anyone who pays the slightest bit of attention to Grand Prix racing. That’s because the two companies have achieved much success in this, their 20th year as partners. The longest running partnership between sponsor and manufacturer in the history of the Motorcycle World Championship, Repsol Honda has won 10 World titles, 124 race wins and 338 podiums in 500cc and MotoGP.

The unseen Honda collection

Thu, 07 Jan 2010

IN AN UMARKED warehouse in Torrance, California, lies a collection of classic Honda cars and motorcycles from the past four decades - most have never been seen by public eyes. The collection was started by a former executive of American Honda, Tom Elliott, Honda USA's executive vice president for sales, John Mendel, tells the New York Times.“The problem was, we kept turning up more and more significant models that we couldn’t let go of,” said Mr. Mendel. We just kept parking them in this warehouse.

Honda Trademarks Design for Naked CBR300R

Thu, 06 Mar 2014

Earlier this week, we uncovered Kawasaki‘s design trademark for a naked version of its 250cc single-cylinder Ninja RR Mono. It now looks like Kawasaki isn’t the only Japanese manufacturer with a small-displacement naked model on the way. Honda has registered a trademark on the design for a new motorcycle that appears to be a naked CBR300R or CBR250R.
