Honda Fury description

This bike is a 2014 Honda Fury with 5600 miles its runs great an tires are in good shape.  They body  is a flat white factory honda color.  As you can see in pics there has been some customization done to the rear fender an rear blinkers but does not effect the ride or handling at all. the grips an mirrors are aftermarket as well.  Please look at picks closely an email me fore more information if needed.  The front turn signals an in the bar ends which looks pretty sweet.  First time I have ever seen then done like this.  There is also a aftermarket set of exhaust on bike with the name COBRA on them they sound great.  Overall id probably rate this bike a 8 on a scat of 1 to 10 just because of the customized fender.  I have this bike listed locally as well an can sell at anytime please contact me for more information 615 498 0903  I have title in hand for east transaction.  Thanks and good luck

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.

Mick Doohan NSR500 art sculpture

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

How do you best immortalise the great Mick Doohan and the big bang Honda NSR500 with which he dominated Grand Prix racing in the 90s? An Australian artist has answered this by creating an art installation that sees a hand-created replica of the bike exploded and suspended from the ceiling. The Doohan piece is appropriately titled 'The Big Bang' and as artist Eamon O'Tootle describes, "It is a complex sculpture comprising thousands of parts joining to make up a whole and symbolic tribute to the true inherent nature of art and sport – the creativity of design, where the mechanical is modified to suit the needs of man." Eamon added: "The way the Doohan piece came about was that one of the bikes Mick rode had an engine configuration called the Big Bang.

Help settle an argument

I'm happy to admit that I'm a little bit different; I believe that brown is an underused colour in motorcycling and we need to move on from custom café racers and introduce a dustbin fairing craze - you know I'm right. So, as Ben Cope - known around the Visordown office for being rather stubborn - and I were looking over various scooters on the 'net we uncovered the above machine, Honda's Big Ruckus 250. Instantly I thought that the Big Ruckus was absolutely cool, whereas Ben likened it to a 'mobility scooter'.
