Honda CT description

This is a really fine example of this bike. I have been the owner since 1968, but it has been at my fathers house for most of those years in a carriage house. It has new tires and battery, newer wiring, new tail light and signals. It has been tuned up with new plug, new oil and transmission fluid. This bike has not been restored to this nice of condition for a long time. The engine has great compression and can go to 45 miles an hour on flat roads and 55 mph on a down hill. I weigh 270 and it pulls me fine. I'm asking top dollar for this unit because I know the history and have taken good care of the bike. It has a clear title, warranty card and instruction booklet. Bikes this old and in this good of shape are very hard to find. If I don't sell it, that's OK with me. I've put about $500.00 in this bike recently, to get it up to excellent running shape. It starts on the first or second crank and idles very smooth. This is the last time I will list this motorcycle. I can't stress enough that this bike runs great and hasn't run this good for years. The person that restored this bike for me really knew how to fix the issues I had. Because I changed the wiring and the battery regulator, it starts on the first or second kick after sitting for over 10 days or so. Check my feed back. It has not passed from person to person. Most of the miles were on rolling hills of the Gamble estate in Cincinnati. I never really had it on the street that often. The engine has not been taxed at all. I am 60 miles from Knoxville. The buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements if the bike were to be shipped.

Dovi given the 1000fps treatment

Fri, 22 Jul 2011

Andrea Dovizioso describes the perfect lap from the start to the corners. All three of the Repsol Honda riders have very different riding styles and comparing the above footage of Dovi against Stoner you can see that he is a lot more conservative on the bike than a ragged lap of his Australian team-mate. Still incredibly rapid though.

2013 AMA Supercross Daytona Race Report

Mon, 11 Mar 2013

Ryan Villopoto won his fifth main event race of the year at Daytona to take over the lead in the 2013 AMA Supercross championship standings. The win is the third at Daytona in the Monster Energy Kawasaki racer’s career, matching the totals set by Bob Hannah, Mike Kiedrowski, Jeremy McGrath and Chad Reed. Only Ricky Carmichael, who designed the sand-based Daytona track, holds more Supercross wins at Daytona with five victories.

Actual Motorcycle or My Little Pony Character?

1 of 6Next Last A little while ago, we published a review of a motorcycle Honda produces for the Indian market called the Unicorn Dazzler. Yes, that’s the actual name of a production motorcycle designed by Honda Motorcycle & Scooter India, a Honda subsidiary. In his review of the 150cc motorcycle, Rajeev Gaikwad said the Honda Unicorn Dazzler was “a handsome commuter with an enthusiastic and proven engine” though it was underwhelming in terms of performance and handling as the higher-priced successor to the regular Honda Unicorn also sold in India.
