1971 HONDA CT70 TRAIL BIKE (1971)
A very clean Honda CT70 vintage trail bike that has been in storage for quite some time but fresh gas and a plug cleaning and it fired right up for us. Probably could use a good tune up and battery charge but it is all complete and very clean. It has a 3 speed transmission and was built in 9/1971. Paint and chrome are excellent as well as the seat and tires. I bought her many years ago and was told by the seller that in 1971 not all states issued titles (don't know if he was fibbing) so I never received one at the time of sale but I will be selling the bike with a bill of sale. The odometer shows under 1390 miles. The horn doesn't work and I haven't looked into its repair. Local pickup only or buyer "arranges and pays" for shipping in the u.s. only. I held on to this Honda 90 for over six months for a friend that wanted to but it to go with his 70 that is the same color. I didn't do anything to it other than detail it. he wanted it exactly the way it was. He was going to do the rest of teh things it needed to save some money. I really can't afford to just let it sit in my garage any longer waiting for him to buy it. This is a clean bike but the lady I bought it from said it needs a maginto? The cover is missing on the left hand side case. The foot pegs "rubber" are loose and bots need to be tightened, brake pedal is bent and the key was missing when the bike came to me. All these parts cam be ordered for about $100.00 on ebay. He offered me $1100.00 I am going to put it up for 900.00 because I need it gone. The bike has an Idaho title but is non op at this time. Hi, Up for sale is a beautiful 1972 Honda CT. This motorcycle has 1893 miles and is in great original condition for being 44 years old!! The paint shines and the chrome is incredible. It has been kept in my garage for years riding only occasionally. It is in original condition except for the carb which is aftermarket and working great! The original will be included along with a new battery. This is a blast to drive and gathers tons of attention. This can be added to your collection or right to the campsite and trails! It runs very smooth and very strong. I drove it the other day and hit 40 with a little tail wind behind me. This CT has a clear title and original key. It also has original tool kit under the seat. It does has scratches and some dents and scuffs as expected of a bike this age. I did my best to show close ups. I put a new throttle cable in but does not always retract fully as it should. The grab bars are aftermarket but there was no drilling. Other than carb the motor has never been touched. I have sold multiple cars and misc items and have received 100% feedback. Pedrosa Staying with Repsol Honda Through 2016 MotoGP Season
Wed, 09 Jul 2014Honda has signed Dani Pedrosa to a two-year contract extension that will see the Spanish racer stay with its factory MotoGP team through the 2016 season. By the end of the contract, Pedrosa will have spent a whole decade racing for Honda in the premier class to go with another five seasons in the 125cc and 250cc classes. The signing follows a similar two-year contract extension for Pedrosa’s teammate, the reigning World Champion Marc Marquez while over in the Yamaha camp, Valentino Rossi also recently signed a two-year contract extension, making 2016 the year to watch for silly season drama.

Mon, 07 Jul 2014Kawasaki‘s Tom Sykes extended his championship lead while a Race Two collision between Aprilia teammates Sylvain Guintoli and Marco Melandri provided drama in the World Superbike Championship round at Portugal’s Portimao track. Sykes qualified on the pole in a sun-draped Superpole session but the clouds rolled in on race day, forcing teams to plan for mixed weather. An overcast sky presided over a dry Race One, leading to a mix of tire choices but all of the racers switched to wet tires for Race Two that saw the scheduled 20-lap length reduced to 18 laps.

This race is part of the eMotoRacing series, which runs in conjunction with AHRMA. The 96 volt student-built prototype racebike will compete in the eSuperSport class against a field of production based Brammo Empulses. The Bolt Team is no stranger to competition, as it has previous experience racing in the TTXGP series in 2012.
