New 3.50x10 tires, all new grey control cables, new handlebars and new headlight assembly. Original seat with a couple flaws and a crack but feels comfortable. Larger rear taillight.Horn, brakes, lights work with larger rear taillight. Speedo has new cable but not working. This bike is not perfect but its pretty nice, runs and rides good.Clear California Title.

You are bidding on a survivor 1970 Honda CT 70. This Honda is in great condition, with just over 2200 miles. It is a great color: the best in my opinion, and is a very tight ride. It is all original with the exception of a reproduction carb. The original carb is included in the sale. The carb that is on it needs minor adjustment, but the bike starts very easily, (one or two kicks) and does not smoke. Check of the video of the running below: The images show how clean this bike is, it is missing just a couple of items: a reflector on the side of one of the forks, one button on the handlebars, and it does not come with a battery. I believe all cables are original. The rear foot brake needs adjustment. The original seat cover does have a tear in the front. This is a great iconic CT 70 - the right shock is not bent like most are, and the bike is very clean and a good runner. It hauls my 180LBS to 35 MPH easily. Located in Missoula, MT. I will hold the bike for 30 days after payment is made.

Barn find 1974 Honda Trail 70,CT70.This is an unmolested,original Honda 70.This is the way the bike was found,I decided not to clean it,just get it running.Looks like the previous owner recently made an attempt to get it running by replacing spark plug and points.I acquired it non running,to get it running I cleaned and flushed the gas tank,changed fuel lines and it took a couple tries of cleaning the carb to get it working properly,has not been rebuilt.Replaced spark plug,cap,points,condensor.The 70 now runs very smooth,although to me sounds like there is a very small exhaust leak near the head,I could be wrong. I have yet to see another ct70 with the original turn signals intact,has the original tires no dry rot at all,has the original key.Brakes still work well,speedometer works,horn works,rear brake light is on,right side turn signals light up but do not flash,left side does not light up,headlight does not light up. There looks to be a small tear in the seat but it does not lift up.Frame,wheels,fenders have some surface rust.There is no tool kit or manual.

All parts that needed replacing have been replaced or refurbished, including a new muffler, tires, brakes, shocks, etc. The engine has been replaced with a new Lifan 125 for more power, along with a Mikuni VM22 carburetor for increased reliability. The frame and wheels were powder coated, and the optional luggage rack has been re-chromed. The bike currently has dual registration for on and off road. I held on to this Honda 90 for over six months for a friend that wanted to but it to go with his 70 that is the same color. I didn't do anything to it other than detail it. he wanted it exactly the way it was. He was going to do the rest of teh things it needed to save some money. I really can't afford to just let it sit in my garage any longer waiting for him to buy it. This is a clean bike but the lady I bought it from said it needs a maginto? The cover is missing on the left hand side case. The foot pegs "rubber" are loose and bots need to be tightened, brake pedal is bent and the key was missing when the bike came to me. All these parts cam be ordered for about $100.00 on ebay. He offered me $1100.00 I am going to put it up for 900.00 because I need it gone. The bike has an Idaho title but is non op at this time. This is a good bike to restore because it has good chrome and good paint. thank you

Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.

Ronax isn’t saying it’s a street-legal replica of the Honda NSR500 that Valentino Rossi rode to win the 2001 Grand Prix world championship – probably because they legally can’t – but that’s essentially what the 500 is. The New Fastest Electric Motorcycle Lap, With John McGuinness + Video

Earlier this week, John McGuinness won the single-lap TT Zero electric motorcycle race at the Isle of Man TT aboard his Mugen Shinden San. In the process, the 21-time TT winner smashed the old lap record of 109.675 mph, setting an average speed of 117.366 mph from a standing start. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

Michael Dunlop won his fourth race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT and 11th in his career, capping off this year’s event by taking the PokerStars Senior TT. It is the second-consecutive year that Dunlop has won four races in a single TT, this time capturing the Senior, Superbike, Superstock, and the second Supersport TT races. It took a while for Dunlop to get going.

Dave Molyneux won his 17th career TT as he and passenger Patrick Farrance took the second Sidecar race of the 2014 Isle of Man TT. Molyneux is the career leader in Sidecar TT wins and third overall in total Isle of Man TT victories behind Joey Dunlop and John McGuinness. Molyneux and Farrance won the race by a good 44-second margin but they benefited greatly from a mechanical problem plaguing early race leaders John Holden and Andrew Winkle.

Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.

Michael Dunlop won his second race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and ninth in his career, taking the RL360 Superstock TT on a BMW S1000RR. Dunlop also won the Superbike TT earlier, giving BMW its first two wins on the Isle of Man since 1939. Meanwhile, Supersport TT 1 winner Gary Johnson was injured in a crash on the opening lap while running second behind Dunlop.
