Honda CT description
THIS IS A 1972 RUBY RED HONDA CT 70 HK1 WITH THE RARER 4 -SPEED MANUAL TRANSMISSION. I INHERITED IT FROM MY UNCLE WHO RECENTLY PASSED , AND NEED TO SELL IT DUE TO LACK OF ROOM. I KNOW IT HAS BEEN REPAINTED AND THE ENGINE REBUILT. THE ODOMETER REFLECTS THE MILEAGE AFTER BEING REFURBISHED 19.4 miles. BIKE REALLY LOOKS CLEAN ,ORIGINAL AND YOU REALLY NEED TO SEE IT TO REALIZE HOW CLEAN IT IS.
I DO NOT KNOW A LOT ABOUT THESE BIKES BUT EVERYTHING SEEMS TO BE IN WORKING ORDER. IT EVEN HAS A TOOL KIT UNDER THE SEAT. THE BIKE RUNS WELL AND SHIFTS WELL IN ALL 4 GEARS. THE LOCAL HONDA DEALER MENTIONED THE CARBURETOR NEEDED TO BE ADJUSTED BECAUSE IT BOGS SOME WHEN THE CHOKE IS SWITCHED OFF, BUT SAID IT'S ONLY SOME MINOR ADJUSTMENTS NEEDED. THAT'S THE ONLY THING YOU'LL NEED TO DO TO THIS BIKE.
THERE ARE COUPLE NICKS AND SPOTS IN THE PAINT THAT ARE CRACKED ON THE RIGHT SIDE NEAR THE TRAIL 70 STICKER. OTHER THAN THAT, THE TIRES ARE NEW AND THE BIKE IS OVERALL A REAL LOOKER. I HAVE RECEIVED MANY COMPLIMENTS ON IT. SOME BOLTS/SCREWS HAVE MINOR RUST BUT PRETTY NORMAL FOR A 41 YEAR OLD BIKE.
BIKE IS SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION. I DO HAVE THE TITLE FROM THE ORIGINAL OWNER WHEN MY UNCLE PURCHASED IT.
THE BIKE IS ONLY AVAILABLE FOR LOCAL PICK UP. I CAN NOT SHIP IT.
THERE IS A $500 DEPOSIT DUE BY PAYPAL IMMEDIATELY AT CLOSE OF AUCTION. BALANCE BY CASHIERS CHECK OR CASH IN PERSON DUE WITHIN ONE WEEK.
SERIOUS BIDDERS ONLY PLEASE!!!!

Barber Recognized by Guinness as World’s Largest Motorcycle Museum
Mon, 28 Apr 2014Guinness World Records has officially recognized the Barber Motorsports Museum as the world’s largest motorcycle museum in the world. The 144,000-square-foot, five-story museum is home to nearly 1400 motorcycles, of which about 700 are on exhibit. We’ve featured the Barber Museum before, and are completely blown away each time we step foot within its doors. It’s simply awe-inspiring.
Simon and Leo
Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
Honda Launches Dream Yuga in India – One of The Cheapest New Honda Motorcycles Worldwide
Tue, 15 May 2012Honda, the largest (by volume) motorcycle manufacturer in the world has launched one of its least expensive motorcycles. Made specifically for the booming two-wheeler market in India, the 109cc Dream Yuga is set to retail for 44,642 Indian rupees. That price wouldn’t translate directly here in the U.S., but a simple currency conversion at today’s monetary values equates the rupee cost to $830.
