1970 Honda ST70 DAX
Trail 70
Hello and thanks for your interest in my 1970 Honda ST70 "DAX" model. This bike is of the rarest of the CT70s because they were the "EXPORT" model which means it came with blinkers, a center stand, a detachable front end, street tires, a 3 speed transmission with an automatic clutch. This model has a shift pattern of 1 up and 2 down. This bike had only 2269 original miles on it. The speedometer has been restored and set at back to zero during restoration. The bike now only has 1 or 2 miles of test riding on it. This bike has a clean California tittle in my name. No expense was spared as you can see. The bike was in good condition to start but I am somewhat of a perfectionist and I like my things to be nice. This bike starts on the first kick, runs and shifts great. This bike looks fabulous and is definitely a crowd pleaser! So read on and happy bidding. :) TB Parts stands for Honda trail bike parts- remanufactured good quality parts...NOT from China. CHP stands for Classic Honda Parts- remanufactured very good quality parts....NOT from China. NOS stands for New Old Stock also means Stock Honda Parts from Honda not remanufactured. Press launches - the ugly truth. Part 3
Sun, 03 Apr 2011So with an afternoon of sightseeing completed (a rare luxury on most launches) it's back to the hotel for the press conference. These are you usually long winded, tooth pulling affairs with Japanese technicians insisting on speaking their bestest engrish which only serves to elongate the proceedings. Nothing kills a presentation more than reading every word of a powerpoint slide verbatum, even thought the viewers can read exactly the same words (and probably a lot faster). The Crossrunner presentation was mercifully brief and snappy followed by dinner in the hotel and a reasonably early night as everyone had already been up for twenty hours.

Wed, 18 Jun 2014The Honda CBR300R will be joined by a naked model, if new certification documents from the California Air Resources Board are any indication. Back in March, we broke the story of a design patent for a new small-displacement naked Honda based on its CBR300R/CBR250R platform. CARB has certified a new model called the 2015 Honda CB300F along with the CBR300R and its ABS-equipped variant.
