Vintage 1970 Honda Trail 90 Motorcycle, Runs and Rides Great! Here we have for sale a nice vintage 1970 Honda Trail 90 motorcycle. This is a great old vintage bike with just 1,300 original miles on it. The bike is real clean and I just gave it a complete tune up and it runs fantastic! I adjusted the timing and valves, adjusted the points, replaced the spark plug, rebuilt the carburetor and adjusted the carburetor, put a new air filter on, put new fuel lines on it, replaced all of the cables, new grips, new mirrors, new rubber pegs, new levers, new seat cover, new battery and new tires on the bike. This bike is mechanically sound and starts up first kick, and runs beautiful. It runs and drives fantastic and shifts through all of the gears nice and easy. The lights all work and same with the horn. The yellow paint is original on the bike and is real nice! The paint is shiny and looks really nice in the sun, there is some minor scratches in the paint, here and there but nothing major. The exhaust pipe is solid and the chrome is nice on the pipe. There is a little scuff in the pipe guard but that's it. The plastic frame cover, air cleaner box, and battery box have all been repainted silver. The headlight bucket has a little tiny crack in it near the edge, where the headlight bezel comes in contact with the bucket, it's nothing really, just something to note. The fork boot is cracked and split on the throttle side. The handlebars and controls are real nice on the bike. The speedometer face is a little faded but still functions properly. The paint on the plastic frame cover, and air box is nice but not perfect, the plastic is a little hard but isn't broken. Overall this is a nice vintage Honda Trail 90 that you can have a blast with! It looks good enough so that you will be proud to own it, but it's not perfect where you don't want to ride it. You can enjoy this bike on or off-road. This bike has some normal wear on it, on the engine cases and sides of the bike. Please look at all of the pictures. I do NOT have a title for the bike. Again, I do NOT have a title. I will provide a bill of sale to the winning buyer. I only accept cash, check, or money order as acceptable forms of payment. I can store the bike for a month at my home so that shipping arrangements are made and the bike is picked up. The shipping is the buyers responsibility. I Can recommended a shipper I have used many times and they do great work for a reasonable price. They are an exclusive motorcycle shipping company and have one of the best ratings on UShip.com. Their company is J&M Transport. Please contact me for their contact information. They can give you a quote from Reno to where it needs to be delivered. My phone number is 775-830-6760 or email me with any questions. Thanks for looking! |

The future. But we can't have it
Thu, 10 Nov 2011It's no secret that we motorcyclists are getting older. We're ageing because less people are passing their bike test each year (roughly 30,000 last year compared to 50,000 for the 10 years before the new two-part test) and so not only is the pool not growing it's not even being replenished and so the average age isn't being diluted down by yoof. When the going gets tough in any situation, you really get to see who's got their shit-sorted and who's light enough on their feet to adapt to change.
Classic Off-Road Bikes Featured in Braving Baja: 1,000 Miles to Glory Exhibition
Sat, 06 Apr 2013Back in the 60s, American Honda tested the durability of its motorcycles by sending a CL72 Scrambler on a 950-mile trek through rocks, sand washes, dry lake beds, mountain passes and paved roads. Fifty years later, that legendary run is remembered for inspiring one of the most significant off-road races in the world—the Baja 1000. In celebration, the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles is hosting a tribute dinner, one-day off road show, and summer-long exhibition called Braving Baja, 1,000 Miles to Glory.
Sheepish Maverick Vinales Returns to Blusens, Issues Apology
Tue, 23 Oct 2012A contrite Maverick Vinales has returned to the Blusens Avintia Moto3 team days after his brash, and admittedly hasty departure at this past weekend’s Malaysian Grand Prix. The FTR Honda rider quit the Blusens team on Oct. 10, returning home from Sepang without once hitting the track.
