Honda CRF description

Hello. I am selling my 2007 Honda crf 250x. The bike is in fantastic condition with low hours, and has been meticulously maintained. The bike is mechanically stock. The exhaust noise restrictor has been removed from the muffler and the bike has been jetted up slightly. I have added Easton pro taper bars with 30mm handlebar risers. I have mounted Acerbis low profile bark busters to the bars with Cycra heavy duty inner mounts. The bike is on its 2nd pair of tires; recently installed Michelin S12 xc front and rear. The rear sprocket and chain are original and in very attractive condition, and the front sprocket has been replaced with a pbi thirteen tooth for more grunt on the trails. I have the original 14t front sprocket in like-new condition. I have installed a Trail Tech vapor (speedometer/tachometer/coolant temp/shift lamps etc.) with the billet aluminum mount. I have installed Devol aluminum radiator guards, and engine guards. This has been an excellent bike. I have had no reliability issues during my ownership, and the motor has not been opened except for routine valve adjustment. All plastics are original. The buyer will recieve any OEM parts that have been removed and upgraded as well as a factory service manual, and extra new air filter elements. The bike needs nothing but fuel. You will not be dissappointed. I also have a clean original title for the bike.Basics bike specs:225lb dry weight, 5 gear wide ratio tranny, 33hp, 2.2 gallon fuel tank, electric and kick start. Observed top speed over 70mph with current gearing, and more than 80 mi range without using reserve fuel. The suspension is of the matching quality to the "r" models, but is valved softer for off road riding. My asking price is $3100 obo. Fair offers will be considered. Please call Duncan at 541-977-XXXX to arrange a meeting. Please. dont ask to test ride without payment hand. I am not interested in trades. Thanks for looking

French Moto Website Anticipates Versys 1000 at EICMA 2011

Mon, 24 Oct 2011

Musings of a liter-size engined Kawasaki Versys have circulated the web for a few years now, as loyalists of the likable Versys 650, as well as displacement-driven riders waiting in the wings, have pondered the potential of a more powerful adventure bike from Kawasaki that’s in the same league as BMW’s R1200GS and Yamaha’s Super Tenere. Alas, nothing of the sort has ever left the lips of Kawasaki, let alone go into production. Recently, however, the French motorcycle website, Moto-net.com, has produced convincing images that appear like photos of a complete Versys 1000, including matching hard luggage.

Report: Honda to Increase NC700 Engine Displacement

Tue, 02 Jul 2013

British site Visordown reports Honda will release an updated version of its NC700 series with a larger engine for 2014. The larger versions will reportedly carry an extra 50cc, pushing its displacement to 720cc from the current 670cc used on the NC700X, NC700S and Integra scooter. But why would Honda introduce a larger engine so soon after introducing its NC line in the 2012 model year?

Bradl learns Laguna on a 'Blade

Thu, 07 Jun 2012

As neither the 125GPs or the Moto2 classes race at Laguna Seca, Stefan Bradl smartly used his time between the Le Mans and Catalunya Grand Prixs to learn the California track and the Corkscrew ahead of the US GP on July 29th. Riding a loaned Fireblade from Honda America, the German took the to undulating circuit on a trackday, reportedly passing other riders very politely - watch a small glimpse of him here. “Moto2 and Moto3 don’t race at Mazda Raceway so we thought it was a good idea to have a first taste of this tight and twisty circuit." said the 2011 Moto2 champion said.
