Honda CRF description

2014 Honda Crf250r, The best-handling bike in the 250 class just got a whole lot better. That s because Honda s CRF250R is all new for 2014, with a major emphasis on doing what a 250 does best: offer precise, nimble, tack-sharp handling. So what did we do? First, we gave it our new, low-CG aluminum frame. Next, there's an updated fork, a new swingarm, a new shock and new linkage ratio. Finally, we added our patented dual-muffler exhaust - all of these come together to make the new CRF250R handle better than ever.

Jefferies' TT V&M R1 for sale

Tue, 26 Apr 2011

We got a tip-off about a former David Jefferies TT R1 for sale on eBay. The owner says it's from the 1998 TT but I'm pretty sure it was the one he raced in 1999. Here's a little bit more background about the V&M TT effort in 1999: In 1990 Jack Valentine gave up racing to concentrate on running V&M Racing, and after being sacked by Honda at the end of the 1998 season, the team set about to do some giant killing.

Glen Richards back with Embassy Racing

Wed, 27 Oct 2010

One of the unsung heroes of the BSB paddock over the past few seasons, has to be 2010 Superstock 1000 runner up Glen Richards. A nasty tumble in at the Brands Hatch opener lead to four DNFs, but once back on track he pushed the dominant BMWs hard, finishing on the podium eight times. While many were trading their grannies to fund new S1000RRs, Richards kept the faith and rode the wheels off his Padgett’s Honda Fireblade.

2013 AMA Supercross Minneapolis Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Hometown hero Ryan Dungey put a stop to Ryan Villopoto‘s winning streak, taking the victory before 48,846 supportive fans at the Metrodome in Minneapolis, Minn. The Red Bull KTM rider from nearby Belle Plaine, Minn., stalked Monster Energy Kawasaki‘s Villopoto for most of the race before taking the lead and winning the 20-lap race by just 0.903 seconds. The win put Dungey into second place in the standings ahead of Rockstar Suzuki‘s Davi Millsaps and perhaps more importantly, cut away at Villopoto’s points lead.
