2014 HONDA CRF250L, 2014 Honda CRF250LMotorcycling's New MVP.With the CRF250L, Honda reintroduces the concept of a 250-class dual-sport motorcycle. This is a machine thats more than ready to take on some serious off-road challenges without giving up street-riding accommodations. The compact and sophisticated liquid-cooled DOHC 249cc single-cylinder four-stroke powerplant produces smooth and consistent torque at low rpm to aid off-road work, yet the short-stroke engine also spins up excellent high-rpm performance for the street. All through the rev range, the CRF250L pumps out a well-balanced and very capable level of power, along with excellent fuel economy. Its off-road-oriented chassis, which includes a long-travel 43mm inverted fork and single-shock Pro-Link rear suspension, makes it equally at home on city streets or country trails. And with styling cues carried over from Hondas legendary CRF motocross bikes, the CRF250L offers the full package, whether the day calls for low-cost transportation, a weekday commute or genuine dual-sport adventure. The CRF250L is an awesome dual-sport machine that adds off-road capability to its on-road prowess. The CRF250L gives you a great upright seating position thats comfortable for longer rides, perfect for seeing your way through an urban traffic snarl or getting out on the trail. And if your town doesnt have enough money to fix those potholes or pavement patches, the CRF250Ls long-travel suspension is built to handle them no problem.Sure, the new CRF250L is super practical, offering great fuel economy. Tue, 14 Jan 2014Marc Marquez is an incredibly talented motorcycle racer, both on asphalt and in the dirt. His skills on the blacktop are well known by now, but his speed in the dirt opened some eyes as he demonstrated during the Superprestigio, an invitational dirt track event revived by Marquez to have a little fun in the off season and showcase the skills of some of the top riders in the world. Marquez handily won the Superprestigio class for grand prix racers, while the Open class, comprised of non GP riders, was won by that class’ most notable entry: American Brad Baker, the reigning AMA Grand National Champion.
