Honda CRF description
2013 HONDA CRF450X, King of its Class. Taking its inspiration from Honda s revolutionary CRF450R Motocross machine, the CRF450X gets Honda s magical touches that transform it into the king of the trail. Touches like the Honda Progressive Steering Damper, which helps reduce rider fatigue and improve cornering. An electric starter for easy start-ups in even the worst conditions. A Pro-Link suspension, bulletproof Unicam engine and the kind of durability Honda is known for. Nothing s Tougher. Baja has a reputation for being ruthless. Only the best bikes can conquer the elements, and one bike has conquered all the others every time: the CRF450X. The Power to Win. Utilizing a Unicam cylinder head, the CRF450X s 449cc liquid-cooled four-stroke puts out maximum power over a wide rpm band. Control Freak. Perfected on the MX circuit, the Honda Progressive Steering Damper not only improves cornering, but also helps reduce arm fatigue.

475cc NS400R. Marquez and Spencer.
Wed, 13 Nov 2013Winter may be here but I seem to be as busier than ever, maybe the economy is finally turning around. At my last UK track day of the year I had some fun testing this little beauty. It’s a late eighties NS400 triple bored out to 475cc and it felt sweet as I zinged round the GP Arena track at Silverstone. Being stripped bare to reduce weight gives it a very respectable power to weight ratio which means it could live with 600s (on the twisty bits at least).
Honda Announces CBR400R, CB400F and 400X for Japan
Tue, 12 Mar 2013Honda confirmed it will produce a 399cc version of its new 500-series motorcycles for the Japanese market. The Honda CBR400R, CB400F and 400X will be offered in Japan instead of their respective 500 versions, as they are a better fit to the country’s tiered licensing system than the CBR500R, CB500F and CB500X. The new 400 models should come as no surprise after Honda announced in February it would produce a smaller version of the 471cc engine used in the 500 series.
