Honda CRF description

2012 Honda CRF70F, NEW CRF70 - NEW 2012 HONDA CRF 70 NOW ON SALE FOR $ 1,695.00@@@ What’s the one thing on a bike that seems to take the longest for a youngster to master? That’s right: the clutch lever. That’s why the Honda CRF70F is such a great way to introduce young riders to the fun sport of off-road motorcycling. A low seat height and compact dimensions make the Honda CRF70F easy to operate, but what makes this bike extra special is the 3-speed semi-automatic transmission that does away with the need for a clutch lever. Your young rider gets to shift just like on a bigger bike, but there’s no clutch lever to worry about, so stalling is all but impossible. Plus, the CRF70F also boasts a rugged 4-stroke engine that requires no messy mixing of gas and oil and very little maintenance. Want to make sure your youngster experiences fun, not frustration, while he or she learns? The Honda CRF70F is ready to lend a hand. Price does not relfect applicable freight, tax and license fees. To put that in perspective, McGuinness’ teammate, Bruce Anstey, aboard a sister Mugen, set the outright lap record earlier this week aboard his Honda CBR1000RR superbike of over 132 mph.

Marco Melandri rebounded from last week’s disappointing Portimao round to win Race One at Laguna Seca while Tom Sykes extended his championship lead with a win in a red-flagged Race Two. Melandri got taken out of the second Portimao race after his Aprilia teammate Sylvain Guintoli slid into his RSV4. Melandri looked eager to make up for that DNF, leading every lap of Race One on his way to his third win of the season.

Gardner chilling out and taking it easy

Wed, 14 Jul 2010

Away from the pressures of being a Grand Prix racer in the days when fierce on-track battles and unexpected highsides were common place, Wayne Gardner throws a Honda VFR750F around Oran Park in Australia. The bike that Wayne is likely to be riding is special VFR750F, that was given the codename '6X'. The VFR was an experiment with prototype components including titanium valves and magnesium flat-slide carburetors, the result was the bike that weighed less than a factory RC30.
