Honda CRF description

2012 HONDA CRF150R **NO FEES, EVER!**, EVER!, here's nothing small about the size of its performance.Hondas CRF150R is, hands down, the best MX machine in the Mini Class. Designed around a four-stroke powerplant that showcases plenty of Honda technology, weve given it some major-league upgrades for 2012, and graced it with the performance that will keep you up at the front of the pack and on the podium.First, a new cylinder head, new cam, and new piston help this CRF150R run more consistently at different tracks, different elevations and different temperatures. An improved direct push accelerator pump gives you better, more immediate throttle response. New suspension valving returns improve action on small bumps but keeps the 150s excellent large-bump performance. And finally, the CRF150R is available in two versions to fit a wider variety of riders. The CRF150R. For aspiring racers its just what every motocrosser wants. A great start. And one that just about ensures great finishes.Fine Tuned Suspension.New valving front and rear gives you improved suspension action, especially over smaller, faster bumps that unsettle a bike's chassis.More Power means More Trophies.Improved ridability, more power and more torque across the rev bandthe CRF150R has what it takes to put you in the winner circle.Winning Is Everything.Probably the most serious Minicross machine ever, check out all the CRF action at our racing website.

Wed, 04 Apr 2012

An Australian artist has answered this by creating an art installation that sees a hand-created replica of the bike exploded and suspended from the ceiling. The Doohan piece is appropriately titled 'The Big Bang' and as artist Eamon O'Tootle describes, "It is a complex sculpture comprising thousands of parts joining to make up a whole and symbolic tribute to the true inherent nature of art and sport – the creativity of design, where the mechanical is modified to suit the needs of man." Eamon added: "The way the Doohan piece came about was that one of the bikes Mick rode had an engine configuration called the Big Bang.

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The continuation of Honda’s Red Riders Rewards program for 2014 means more than $5 million in earnings will be available to racers. Honda owners have the opportunity to earn payouts at more than 1500 races in 2014 motocross, off-road, dirt track, ATV and road racing contests throughout the country. Honda’s press release was awfully thin with details for road racers, instead focusing on a restructure of the off-road series payouts and the different ways competitors can hope to win money in.
