Honda CRF description
Of all the classes in motocross, the 250s are one of the toughest. And Honda¿¿¿s CRF250R is the best¿¿¿better than ever, in fact, with some great new updates for 2012.Taking a cue from our revised CRF450R, we¿¿¿ve changed the rear shock linkage so you get a softer start and a stiffer finish. It responds to small bumps better, but still resists bottoming over really big hits. Fine-tuning the rear travel helps with steering during hard braking and on long, fast downhill sections. New suspension settings front and rear keep the balance right and increase steering precision. In addition, the CRF250R gets a new cyclinder head and new camshaft, and new throttle body, airbox and intake boot, all designed to give you more user-friendly power. And finally we¿¿¿ve even given the 2012 CRF250R wider, longer footpegs for better grip and comfort and fitted it with premium Dunlop MX51 tires for superior traction in corners and under acceleration.

The most beautiful race bike ever?
Thu, 06 Oct 2011It was good to see my old HRC team mate Shinichi Itoh making his final Moto GP appearance last weekend at Motegi. At 44 he was a bit off the pace compared to his younger team mates, but that didn't matter as it was a joy just to see him circulating on what I reckon is most stunning GP bike ever. And I gladly braved the pit lane walkabout chaos just to dribble and take a few snaps. Unfortunately he lost the front in one session trashing a complete set of body work but was back in action on race day to grab a few world championship points.
Honda to Introduce Larger “New Concept” Models for North America
Fri, 21 Sep 2012Honda announced it is following up on its NC700 series with a new large-sized model, with sales expected to begin in North America in 2013. Honda first announced plans for its NC700 models in at the 2010 EICMA show with a concept it called the “New Mid“, so it really shouldn’t be a surprise Honda would follow it up with a “New Large” series. The new models were announced in a presentation by Honda Chief Executive Officer Takanobu Ito alongside plans to develop a new MotoGP-derived sportbike.
