The CRF250R s rear shock linkage has changed so you get a softer start and a stiffer finish. It responds to small bumps better, but also resists bottoming over really big hits. New suspension settings front and rear keep the balance right and increase steering precision. Also, the CRF250R gets a new cylinder head, a new camshaft, a new throttle body, airbox and intake boot.

Jorge Lorenzo Breaks Collarbone in High-Speed Crash

The Yamaha factory rider was the overall leader after a dry morning practice session. The afternoon was rainy however, creating slippery conditions.

Flying a little under the radar however was a change to American Honda‘s pricing structure for the 2013 NC700X which sees a price increase for the base model but a price cut for combined anti-lock brakes and a dual clutch transmission Honda introduced the NC700X last year at an impressively low price of $6999 for the base model and $8999 with ABS and DCT. Colin Edwards Announces Retirement At End Of Season

The announcement came during the pre-event press conference ahead of this weekend’s Austin MotoGP race — Edwards’ home round. The two-time World Superbike champion cited a lack of progress from winter testing as one reason for the decision.
