Has 37 hours total since purchase, hour meter was put on before it was ever ridden. This bike was never raced.
It has numerous upgrades, and was meticulously maintained. It was never pressure washed, but was washed after every ride. Always stored on a stand and traveled with fork bars (to stop sustained suspension compression). Upgrades include: Renthal twinwall Bars Oversize bar clamps Radiator Braces Renthal Gold chain Renthal sprocket Magura Hydraulic clutch Full Yoshimura exhaust Acerbis hand guards Hour meter Pro taper oversized footpegs Works connection skid plate Parts included but not installed: New renthal front sprocket 13t Hinson complete clutch kit (springs and plates) Stock Parts I also could sell: Full stock exhaust Extra full front wheel assembly two brand new front/rear tires (one sand, one mid-hardness) (never ridden in sand) Am willing to work with you on picking it up. 2014 HRC Dakar Team Announced
Thu, 30 May 2013Today at Mugello, ahead of this weekend’s MotoGP race at the famous Italian racetrack, Team HRC unveiled its 2014 Dakar team and motorcycle. Interestingly, one person many thought could be a Red Rider this year after leaving KTM, Cyril Despres, will not be riding a Honda next year, instead joining Yamaha’s Dakar effort. However, HRC’s team still features five accomplished riders: Helder Rodrigues (Portugal), Sam Sunderland (UK), Javier Pizzolito (Argentina), Joan Barreda (Spain) and Paulo Goncalves (Portugal), all of whom will be competing on the CRF450 Rally.

Thu, 11 Aug 2011If you are a track day regular this year, you may well have bumped into former racer and friendly Kiwi, Simon Crafar. I first met him in Malaysia in 1990 when he was riding for a Yamaha dealer team, sweating his way round circuits like Shah Alam and Johor Bahru but with a long term plan to make it onto the World scene. And he didn’t take long as after riding for Honda in the UK in 1992 he moved to WSB in 1994 and enjoyed success with both the Honda and Kawasaki factory teams.
