Honda CRF description

2009 Honda CRF230M, INTERNET SPECIAL - Honda’s new CRF230M has to be one of the smartest buys you’re going to make this year. The concept is simple: We took our awesome, proven CRF230L dual-sport machine and fine-tuned it for the street. By giving it 17-inch front and rear wheels we’ve made a machine that’s specially tailored for the street, and which can use premium street tires. An electric starter makes getting going a snap, but best of all has to be the new CRF230M’s fuel mileage.

The win strengthens Villopoto’s hold on the points lead as the Kawasaki rider seeks his fourth-consecutive championship. Villopoto took the holeshot in the Houston main event and never looked back, leading all 20 laps for the win.

Things I wouldn't like to race: Part 1

Mon, 25 Jul 2011

Now I know that Mike Hailwood raced a 6-cylinder Honda but that's no excuse for this CBX I spotted at the Bikers Days Spa Classic. The 1047cc, inline 6 cylinder, 24 Valve, DOHC Honda might be a feat of engineering brilliance but it looks like it would be a right handful on track. I've added a picture of an oil tanker to give you an idea of just how long the CBX's wheelbase really is.
