Honda CRF description

Its time to part with my 2007 Honda CRF450R supermoto track day weapon.  I haven't been to the track in almost two years which means that this thing is only used to get to the auto parts store from time to time (its not currently street legal but the cops around here are cool and my shop is a quarter mile away).  It has spent virtually its entire life on the pavement.  I bought it from an older guy who rode it in the dirt for one vacation and scared himself.  He cleaned it up and stored it in his dining room (real cool wife).  Anyway, I purchased it in 2009, converted it and did a hand full of track days.  It is an absolute blast to ride.  If you've never tried supermoto then put it on your list.  The bike is 100% mechanically sound and received an oil change after every track day.  Current oil has about an hour on it total.  Warp 9 wheels, 17" with Continental Contiattack SM tires that are nearly new.  5.5" rear wheel with 160mm rubber.  Teched as per track standard, custom catch cans for fuel and coolant.  All fluid exit points are safety wired closed.  Renthal bars and sprockets.  I have the dirt rear wheel and hub that will go with it with a brand new Dunlow MX31 tire.  Also included is a spare set of factory plastic, one brand new black Acebris front fender, taller rear sprocket, a hot cams service kit with shims, service and owners manuals and 4 spare twin air filters.  Please see  video at:  http://youtu.be/FiDH2PbzDlA

Note:
The bike wasn't 100% cold in the video.  It had been ridden around the parking lot about an hour prior.  The valves are perfect and the bike starts easily whether it's hot or cold.

If you have any questions at all please shoot me a message.

I prefer a local pickup but will deliver to a shipping hub on your dime.

Bill of Sale only.

Tue, 24 May 2011

A 65-year-old man from Windsor, Ontario, Canada is attempting a cross-continent ride from Key West, Fla., to Prudhoe Bay, Alaska and back, on a Honda CBR125R. Bob Munden of Windsor is attempting to set the record for the smallest motorcycle to make the trip from the southernmost accessible point in North America to the northernmost point, and back. A print shop owner with a stable of five motorcycles, Munden will attempt the trip on the 124.7cc single-cylinder four-stroke Honda CBR125R, an entry-level sportbike model Honda offers in Canada.

Dan Gurney’s Two-wheeled Terror at IMS

Tue, 09 Dec 2008

When the Gurney Alligator A6 made its debut in 2002, the world saw a glimpse of a new concept in sport motorcycles. Long, low, quick and efficient like its namesake, the ’Gator was like nothing we’d seen before. The bike was the brainchild of Dan Gurney, the legendary F1 and Le Mans winning driver and championship-winning sports car builder.
