Honda CRF description

SUPER CLEAN 2005 Honda CRF50F, very low hours, starts 1st kick and runs perfect. Title, original bill of sale, two keys and Owners manual in hand. I have a nice helmet to throw in also, boys or girls small or medium sizes. This is a perfect beginners bike for the little guy or baby girl, very dependable and easily maintained. Great Christmas Present... Call or text Mark @ This bike was bought off the show room floor in 2005, registered by the dealership, rode for about a month and then drained and put in storage. I bought the bike about two weeks ago from the original owner, brought her home and cleaned out the carb, changed the oil, bought a brand new pet cock valve from the Honda store and installed that and then fired her right up. It runs perfect!!!!! Bike is not even in the DMV system, I have already checked. Registration was purchased by the dealership in 2005, expired in 2006 and has not been registered since because it was in storage. If you were to want to register it, the charges would be about $140. I'm just being honest and up front with my ad, that way there's no confusion. You're basically buying a bike that is completely off the DMV grid, you can keep it like that and never pay a penny for registration, or have it registered in your name for around $140.

In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.

Nissin ABS Modulator Recall Explained in NHTSA Documents

Wed, 24 Jul 2013

Earlier this month, we published news about an issue with certain Nissin anti-lock brake system modulators that have been connected to recalls in Canada and Japan from Honda, Suzuki and Kawasaki, with the possibility of it expanding to further models and manufacturers using the same component. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has now released documents from American Honda’s recall of ABS-equipped CTX700 and CTX700N that shed some more light into the issue. According to the documentation, a manufacturing error may have resulted in Nissin ABS modulators being contaminated with aluminum chips.

2013 Honda PCX150 Announced – Scooter Now Freeway-Legal

Mon, 02 Apr 2012

Honda has updated its PCX scooter for 2013 with a larger 150cc engine. The 2013 Honda PCX150 replaces the previous version’s 125cc engine with a 153cc powerplant. Honda hasn’t stated how much of a performance boost the larger engine has over the previous one, though the new displacement means the PCX is now freeway-legal in many states.
