Selling my 2005 CRF250R. Bike has low hours and runs excellent. Starts 1st or 2nd kick. Great compression and no backfiring. Has lots of aftermarket parts including FMF Power Core four Exhaust, FMF Power Bomb header, ASV unbreakable levers, Renthal Handle bars, Wiseco Crank, Wiseco Clutch, Aftermarket Performance Head, brand new plastics/graphics. This bike is very fast. I also have about $800 worth of spare parts I can include (set of plastics, grips, two carburetors, 2 heads, valves, springs, kickstart lever, clutch, cylinder and a few other things). Has hour meter and will include service manual. Air filter was cleaned and oil was changed regularly. Clean title in hand. I love this bike and am only selling so I can get a street bike to ride to school. Asking $2600 or best offer. Willing to trade for a KTM (ktm doesn't have to be street legal but must have title), supermoto, enduro, or dual sport. Will consider other offers just let me know what you have. The version ready for the 2008-09 Honda CBR1000RR is claimed to be three pounds lighter than stock and offers a big bump in midrange power. Most importantly to the greenies, however, is that it produces fewer emissions than other performance mufflers.
Report: Dorna to Replace Superstock Classes with More Stock-Inspired WSBK and New 250cc Class
Mon, 07 Jan 2013The coming World Superbike racing season may be the last to feature Superstock classes as series promoter Dorna tries to differentiate its WSBK and MotoGP properties. According to Italian outlet Motosprint, Dorna plans to rewrite the World Superbike and Supersport class rulebooks for the 2014 season to make the race bikes closer to their respective production models. This would create further separation between WSBK and MotoGP, with Superbike racing moving closer to its production-based roots while prototypes racing in the GP series.
