Honda CRF description

This is a 4-stroke CRF 70, not a CRF 50, XR 80, etc. It used to have a 110cc motor transplant, but the original 70cc w/ automatic 3-speed transmission has been put back in, and as such, has not seen much use or abuse.

The bike is in good running shape. It has spent the last seven years holding still. The carburetor and fuel system have just been fully disassembled and cleaned out; the air filter is nice and clean; oil is good to go. Aftermarket upgrades include BBR extended front forks, an extended billet swing arm, an engine skid-plate, Fast Minis handlebar triple-clamp, extended billet kickstand, billet muffler tip, exhaust spark arrestor, and of course, the Lone Star graphics kit. Vehicle title is clear.

The only damage and sign of wear on the bike is cosmetic. The fenders and number plates have been scratched up a little. The grips and tires have suffered a little from the sun.

Local pickup only. The farthest I can take the bike is the city of Tehachapi CA.

Thanks for looking, and happy bidding.

2014 AMA Supercross – St. Louis Results

Mon, 31 Mar 2014

Don’t look now, but James Stewart is the hottest rider in the AMA Supercross Championship. The Yoshimura Suzuki rider won his third consecutive race and series-leading fifth victory of the season. But with Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto holding a comfortable lead with four rounds remaining, Stewart’s hot streak may be too little too late.

VTR-Powered Honda Lawnmower Sets Guinness World Record + Video

Wed, 02 Apr 2014

A lawnmower powered by the engine from a Honda VTR1000F Superhawk has set a new Guinness record for the world’s fastest mower. Honda UK revealed its 996cc V-Twin-powered Mean Mower last summer, claiming it had been tested at a speed of 100 mph but could reach a theoretical top speed of 133 mph. Those claims were put to the test in March at the IDIADA Proving Ground in Tarragona, Spain, with an official Guinness World Records adjudicator on hand to observe.

Honda VFR1200F Launch: Tokyo (no) Show

Wed, 21 Oct 2009

IF YOU'VE never been to the Tokyo show before, let me tell you this: you’re missing nowt.‘You picked a bad year to come,’ said the Yamaha designer and he was spot on. Three halls of mainly Japanese car manufacturers and lots of empty spaces wasn’t exactly what I had in mind. Maybe my expectations were too great, maybe I should have been expecting my glass to be half empty?
