Honda CRF description

Selling an five CRF450X that is ready to ride! Have some extras for it as well. Great bike, lots of power, jetted for high elevation. Electric starter works awesome, even kicks start pretty easy. Idles great, pulls smooth through the power band. Only two short rides on last oil change. Motor and exhaust is clean, has not spent time in mud. Exhaust has a couple small dents from laying it down once, nothing that changes performance. Has about 110hrs on it. New Brake pads New Battery New Clutch New stainless steel valves, seals, gaskets No leaks New grips New fork seals Trail computer Aluminum frame bark busters, not just the plastic kind Lowering kit (nice, pricey) Plastics show typical scratches and scuffs from trail riding Seat in terrific shape, no tears New front and rear spare tubes Spare front and rear tire Stock exhaust, intake, etc. (meets current forest service regulations) Current OHV sticker Bike is titled, not street legal, but can be made legal easily for about $100. crf 450x wr450f wr250f

Surely more wins are on the cards for Seeley and the 2011 Gixer?

Thu, 02 Jun 2011

The amazing Alex Lowes is deservedly grabbing all the attention in the BSB paddock at the moment, but I believe last year’s top Superbike rookie, Alistair Seeley is doing an equally impressive job in the Supersport class. Although he looks ten years younger, thirty one year old Seeley  is riding one of only two 2011 600 GSXRs (fellow countryman Marty Nutt is on the other) in the class. Alistair has finished on the podium four times including a race win at the opening Brand Hatch round and currently lies second in the championship.  He also took victory on the Gixer in the only race run at the North West 200 last month and was looking like the runaway winner last Sunday at Thruxton until electrical gremlins struck after opening up a seven second lead.

2012 Honda Gold Wing Tour: Part 4

Fri, 20 May 2011

Yesterday aboard the 2012 Honda Gold Wing was quite an eye opener. I had shared my impressions of some of the upgrades to the new Wing in blog posts earlier in the week (Part 1, Part 2, Part 3), but these focused mostly on some comfort and convenience updates and the bike’s ability to eat up open stretches of pavement. But on this day we put the Wing to a completely different test: the Tail of the Dragon, US 129 in North Carolina.
