Honda CBR description

2008 Honda Cbr 600RR asking $6800 obo. Has about 8,300 miles on it. Bike is mint, runs perfect, sounds even better. Always kept covered and garaged in winter and any type of bad weather. Has many upgrades:

Entire rear of bike has been powder coated black.
Carbon fiber mirrors and levers.
Carbon fiber heat shield and foot guards.
Carbon Fiber Jardine RT-One exhaust. (sounds awesome)
Racing cowl for back seat. Stock rear seat also included.
True xenon HID lights. Not just a bulb kit. These things are brighter than my Audi Xenon lights.
Carbon Fiber tank pads.
Smoke front flush led turn signals.
Rear license plate light, turn signals, and brake lights have been professionally drilled into the frame. Looks really nice. Custom place in PA did it for me.
Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tires on it. About 75% tread left.
Trex bike stands included.
Honda all weather bike cover included.
Sexy Honda black and red racing cover also included.
If full price is paid I will include a Shift Storm Trooper (not star wars related) Size L racing jacket. Shift Gloves Size 10 and an Icon Domain 2 Sha-Do helmet (helmet has seen better days).

Only scratches on bike are from when it fell over in my newly paved driveway. Fixed everything up that I could. Pictures of scratches below. Also cracked the rear tail light. Only like $40 to replace.

Honda to Shift Mid and Large Displacement Motorcycle Production to Thailand

Tue, 29 Nov 2011

Honda is reportedly moving production of 400cc and larger motorcycles to Thailand from Japan to reduce production costs and overcome the rising value of the yen. According to Japanese news outlet Daily Yomiuri, Honda plans to produce 400cc and 500cc models at a new factory to be built in the suburbs of Bangkok, Thailand. Honda currently produces small displacement models such as the CBR250R in Thailand, with larger models coming out of Honda’s factory in Kumamoto, Japan.

Remember push starts?

Fri, 18 Nov 2011

Alongside the most stunning collection of race and road bikes at their Motegi museum, next to some race bikes, Honda also has a step by step guide on most aspects of riding. I photographed the wonderful text on push starting but I also have lots of equally hilarious instructions on cornering braking and even what a riders goal should be. Watch this space...... oh, and hopefully see you at the NEC over the next ten days!

2014 Honda CRF125F, CRF125F Big Wheel Announced

Tue, 09 Jul 2013

Honda announced a new off-road model with two wheel size options for 2014. The new Honda CRF125F and the CRF125F Big Wheel variant replace the outgoing CRF80F and CRF100F youth models, just as the CRF110F replaced the CRF70F in the 2013 model year. Essentially, in two years, Honda has replaced three of its long-serving youth-oriented off-road bikes with new larger-displacement models while maintaining the dimensions of the previous models to provide options for kids of varying heights.
